Would it make it much bigger if you statically linked the Linux version. I tried to run it but couldn't be bothered to download missing library versions (e.g. libstdc++.so.5 requested but I'm using libstdc++.so.6).

Unfortunately its been tried - and failed quite miserably too...

Anyhoo, if people would be kind enough to test the Windows version (the Linux one is very old and has a few problems with it at the moment), and let me know if there are any buggy wuggies around. Constructive criticism is also allow - just dont always expect me to agree

The Linux version is now up and running...

I'm getting a webOS version of Spots up and running. Aside from increasing my button sizes and a few graphical anomalies to deal with, it is running very well, and should be out within a month or so with any luck...

The standard version will be free (mainly because I cant be bothered to fill in the multitude of American tax forms), although when I get the networking version in, it wont be.

I must say that developing for the Palm is so much nicer (and quicker) than for iPhone/iPad - no need for provisioning licenses, public and private keys... Ah, bliss

I'm pleased to announce Spots is (finally) available for the Palm App Store, for the low, low cost of nothing...

I'll be releasing an Android version once I've a) got a decent phone and b) resolved my current eBay "problem".
