Battlefield Play 4 Free (PC) Live

So this went live sometime today.

I tried the beta and hated it, as it wasn't BF2. I am highly critical of any games proclaiming to be Battlefield though.

I had a game the other night and was not a huge fan really - you have to level up to fly and I just found I was getting trounced by people who were flying whilst I was pottering about in a Jeep/on foot.

I also don't like being unable to swap class as and when I please. Picking spawn points doesn't really work either - I seemed to spend all my dead time loading new player's info when dead so couldn't click 'spawn at main base' even when I wanted to.

But it is free

Crikey, this is a blasphemy! Everything except the models in that cheesy video was taken directly out of BF2. How dare they insult my all time favourite game like that!

Hey, welcome to Battlefield 2! I actually paid good money to be constantly slaughtered by other players who had airplanes/helos. Can't believe EA are giving it away now (albeit as part of a master plan to rake back even more cash in micro payments for useless bits of bling and not so useless kit no doubt).

I am aghast.

Yea BF2 vanilla wasn't my favourite. I much preferred infantry only

Vanilla BF2 is good, its a shame the infantry mode was never more then a quick job.

As for Battlefield play 4 free is just another BF heroes but a bit more realistic.
