People will say it looks like previous MW games but its a FPS that i love and to me it looks reight up my street as long as its not broken online like the MW2.

Right up my street too. I wasn't feeling the underwater bit, but once we got up top that all changed. Let's hope the special ops involves levels like that.

It does look good but all my gaming life since the days of pong people have been raving about how good the graphics are on each new game that comes our way, sadly after being so badly let down by lack of support from the developers of the last two COD games I wouldn't care if it was photo realistic I still wont be buying it.

Fair point.

What do you think about BF3 supposedly having team death match and co-op campaign? That makes a big difference for me. I like the choice of faster more frenetic games as well as the normal tactical modes. That could make it a COD beater on it's own.

Really ? i don't ever remember a game , i have owned , that has had so many updates as Black Ops . And for things i didn't even know where problems or broken .

I cant even remember the last time i was dumped in a hacked lobby !!!! oh yeah i can MW2 .

This is on Xbox thou and maybe ignorantly im assuming all platforms have had the same amount of updates and support as Xbox .

If anything i think Treyarch listen to much to the community ! ( never thought i would ever say that about a COD developer ) .

For the first time ever im leaning towards another franchise as in BF3 . do you know if the footage shown was computer generated or console generated ?

It must be just me but it had that slightly out of focus sort of haziness like black Ops , really need to see the HD version before i pass judgement i guess .

I would be telling porkies if i said im not excited , because i am so looking forward to November but i still have real reservations about MW3 .

It was proper gameplay, the dudes 360 controller ran out of battery at the start of it.

TBH the BF3 footage took a dump all over it though.

I dumped my copy of BO pretty quickly and never went back so didn't know about the patches. At release it was a shockingly bad playing experience on the PS3.
No regrets though as I sold my copy for more than I paid and converted to BFBC2 which I'm loving much more than I ever did MW2.
Come November I won't have time to play both BF3 and MW3.
My mind is already made up as to which I'm buying.

meh, single player and console.

PC and online multiplayer is the only ticket worth buying.
