Another timed Exclusive for Xbox 360 has just launched on Xbox Live................1200 points ............Games are ending up costing £80.
My mate wanted me to go and get the Playstation version of Black Ops since they have apparently fixed the online part of the game.
Now Get this...........I have the hardened edition of Black Ops the one with the silly medal that's about as much use as a ash tray on a motorbike Blockbuster trade in value for my Hardened edition is a Pathetic £10 as they don't have that edition listed [Go figure] yet they want me to pay £29.99 for a second hand copy of the game on the P3.....[Dream on] I may like my games and do some stupid things but there is no way I'm doing this suicide mission...........
So i give them a better version of the game [Hardened ] and i get a basic P3 version and i have to pay them £20 for the privilege, then take into account all the map packs i have paid for on the xbox live service and it gets ridiculous.
I mean i would have thought paying a Fiver would have been to much but this is extreme exploitation at its greatest.

Just give me the £80, I'll make it worth your while.
We always knew that when CoD went to consoles, that it would become a massive cash cow.

£80 for a game!!!!!
Sod that

I remember in the day you paid for a finished game and that was it, then came the expansions. Until this generation, we pay for half a game and bit by bit we get full game some time afterwards after doubling the initial outlay. It wont stop until people stop putting with it. The wrongs and rights of this is expansive however comes down profits in the end!
My views are my experiences.

£80 for a game!!!!!
Sod that I would pay £80 for a game if it was a good one like that - IF it came wrapped with an XBOX and Kinect.
The XBOX controller is far better for me and I think that I may end up buying one eventually.
My PS3 went back due to the controller being hopeless for me - it lasted a weekend, if you remember[?]. It could've been something amazing. But it was not. With all the hacks & the amount that people have lost - I hope that they never recover. Lost MY faith in them.
I prefer the PC for gaming and have a blu-ray drive in that anyway.

Wait for games, gaming Sensei - you WILL pay less, and will find out if it's a duffer before you waste cash on it - AND a blinking good review - and that would be the crime of the century, darn it!!

I agree with you about the xbox controller being much better. I don't understand why sony haven't made a man size controller for us???? I wish there was a proper xbox style controller for the ps

I still own both consoles but as Black Ops is concerned its a Xbox only title , PSN is a mess with far to much cheating going on and im still not convinced it runs as well over PSN as it does over Xbox Live .
I might go the other way and trade the PS3 as all it does nowadays is play Blue Rays , even the kids don't play it any more , with the eldest saving up and buying there own Xbox .
The reasoning being , my friends list is very extensive over xbox live , with me just turning the xbox on to bring party invites and game requests from my xbox community of friends .
I feel like a lone Wolf whilst playing the PSN version of Black Ops and much prefer to play as part of a team .
So what im really saying is , its where your friends play the game and what platform there playing on that made me a Xbox player over a PSN player .
And a foot note , for some reason i don't like the new multiplayer maps over the last map pack , which i loved the Escalation maps , Zombies is always good and now with the added thing of working out the Easter eggs , im completely hooked on Zombies again .

I really am not convinced on the new maps and absolutely detest Hazard ( Im not a sniper)
And for some reason I ended up playing Hanger 18 about 5 times as many as other new maps whatever is going on.
The jury is still out but I feel I have just wasted my money but as everyone else I play with bought them I didnt really have a choice. MW3 with the talked about monthly subscription should be interesting!

I bought a Power A controller a while ago
It's great except if you get your leg in the way it loses it's signal and doesn't work. Sent it back

I don't have problems with the PlayStation controllers and actually prefer them over the heavier xbox 360 one..............I have small hands anyway and a lot of people complain because they have larger hands i think ?

I'm not a fan of the playstation controller, for me theres just not too much it does right for me to like it.
My past PS2 i went through 3 controllers through regular gaming, mostly the L or R back buttons which collapsed, one of them inexplicably stopped working too.
Only had 1 360 controller go remotely broke and they see double usage (pc + 360), its still usable its just the left stick isnt as tight as it used to be, noticeable in gta4, when you get in a car niko would just do a mini circle walk before he got in.
For me i like a nice sturdy tough controller, IMO playstation controllers except for the original and psone controllers, don't offer that, the original PS3 sixaxis was really bad, ive had 3rd party gamecube controllers that felt tougher. Everything else i can live with, if they fixed the dpad properly on the 360 controller i'd say it'd be one of the best controllers ever, but sadly microsoft do not, hence it shall forever be held back.

There reason ibstucknwith the PS3 after the PS2 was down to the controller. I prefer it smaller even though I have big hands. Got massive feet as well.
.
Knowing how it works is completely different to understanding how it works.

For me the best ever controller was the first Xbox controller , effectunutly known as the Don . it was huge and so comfortable for adult hands and there was its problem , only adults could use it .
I use to like playstation controllers but now on extended gaming sessions i get really bad hand cramps from using it , i don't have huge hands but definitely prefer the xbox controller over the PS3 controller .
I do get through at least two controller a year ( and no i don't throw them at the wall any more ) they simply get worn out , also i play with a wired controller which is a lot lighter and i find more comfortable on long gaming sessions and no battery's worries .

Don't like the restrictions of wired controllers and there is no need to keep replacing battery's anymore as both machines have adequate chargers on the market.

I have a long usb lead which I just plug my controller into when it's flat and carry on playing.
Wired controller wouldn't bother me as I have my turtle beach headphones on while playing battlefield so no big deal another wire across the room.

I have a logitech wireless headset so i don't do leads.
