Bought a few cheap games to mess with, and have tried to load Duke Nukem, but servers are busy. No harm - it's for the PC.

Might be fun.

Does look rather special now doesn't it,don't really do Steam games mate or anything game related on the PC to be quite honest.

Last time i actually bought something of steam it was Plants v Zombies which i really loved.apart from Bodycount the next few months are sparse regarding game releases so i will revisit some of the many others that i have bought.

I know that you don't really bother with PC games - your posts are read - after all, there CAN be expert reviews in a games thread.

There was only your original post in this thread (what a shame), but I was thinking that there was a possibility that Swanny/Falcon/Qzero/<please insert any random username here>/ etc may do a review here of that video.

Since you mentioned your love of Bioshock guest i went through my numerous containers of games and pulled out the original one and will play through that game once again because it was a classic.

Was not so keen on Bioshock 2 for some strange reason as it just did not grip me like the first as we all probably new what to expect,obviously when the first game came along it was all new and different.

Lets hope Bioshock Infinite turns out to play as good as it looks

Yeah, I thought the first one was much better also. It was highly original at the time and both the back-story and plot were very immersive and excellently done.

After playing Bioshock 2 once I was not tempted to every play through again and sent it off to 'charity', mate. It was ok but not a classic unlike the first.

Bioshock Infinte looks really good. Lots of originality so I hope the story lives up to expectation as they certainly seemed to have nailed the visuals. Gameplay is more of the same but nothing too far wrong with that I guess. A little less arcade action would have suited me in a trade off perhaps for more RPG elements and getting to know this wacky world and its characters a little more.

Finally, nice to be above ground with some sky. That last game was pretty claustrophobic, wasn't it?

Bioshock was indeed a class game. It was new, shiny, and rang the right bells here. Beautiful graphics. It was disturbing enough too with the psychotic-type vocals used in it. It just didn't seem 'normal'.
Loved that game!

Duke Nukem - WOW!! - It must be the best game graphically ever (seriously) for the spectrum - my settings were on Ultra - by default - and I messed about with the anti-aliasing etc. I'm liking it because I KNEW _amazing it wasn't (thanks guys), how much I liked the original (sooo long ago), and how bad the Steam cost is (drastic, but at least I can't trade it in. D'oh!).

Please don't tell me that the audio in Bioshock IS normal. I can not still hear pictures in my mouth and quadrophonic sounds in my hair. I can't, ok?!
