I didn't even have a computer! Got my first one a year or two later and Max Payne was my first game for the PC.

Those augmentations from the new marketing trailer look pretty cool. I would get some new legs myself. And a new head maybe. I guess I could have a range of heads like Worzel Gummidge.

Pah - I still remember when digital watches first appeared, and LCD calculators too.

WE weren't allowed the calculators in exams - NO WAY - we learnt to read [books], write [pencils and pens], and learn [by going to school, doing the lessons, respecting teachers/elders/etc].

Money was tight - but it went further. MUCH further - Practically NO foreigners. And don't start me on the "war" and "maggie".

They WERE the days. Men were men and sheep were feared! laugh

Another game that seems way to deep for my Brain, just don't think i have the patience anymore to play these type of games especially when it revolves around Stealth and sneaking around....................I just like to blow the [censored] out of anything in the vicinity...............Can see how many people will look forward to this though as it does look like there will be value for money here.

I actually got bored with the last installments of Metal Gear Solid and the cut scenes were way to much and not needed.

I think I eventually got an ati rage pro to play it, but by that time it had been out for years. In fact not much has changed. I'm still using an out of date x1950pro.

If it's been designed right you should be able to play it any way you want, so "blowing the [censored] out of anything in the vicinity" would be a valid tactic. That's how it was in the original anyway.

Hope your right mate but when i watched a developer playing it for 10 minutes it kind of bored me to death to be honest and that was him just trying to move up a floor in some apartment.

I can't see you making a very good James Bond. laugh

I on the other hand was a social specialist, handgun marksmen, and overall trap-setter.

And then I had some mission to visit some place but I saw a basketball court and I pretty much couldn't find my way so stopped playing. Glorious memories!

Why does Denton ask soo many questions?

I seriously think Gzero as i get older and move on with the different generations of gaming my patience gets extremely limited.

There are not to many games that i have played the last few years that i could say i really enjoyed,if i was quietly surprised it would have been Dead Space and one of the best i have played in the past 2 years would be Red Dead Redemption.

There are many games that i have bought loaded and thought this is really cool, but within days i have moved on to something else.

Bulletstorm was a great game and so is Infamous 2 but even then i have not finished either of them, suppose the last game i played for months would have been MW2 so if MW3 is something similar then i for one will be happy..........Try as i might i just can not get into Black Ops even though i have a lot of fun playing Demolition.

I was looking forward to the Deux Game but after watching that i dont think its for me,on the other hand Dead Island looks right up my street so i hope this lives up to the brilliant trailers and the recent game footage.

I am in a similar position, I find that my patience disappears quickly if the answer isn't hinted at properly and resort to googling rather than half an hour of running around.

However, I find that repetition is far more testing of my patience and means I won't enjoy the game unless the story is that good.

I'm trying to think of a game design that is unique and fun without copying from another game. I'll stick it in my own mini game and see if it works.
