Dont know if anybody will be in interested but the Original Crysis game hits the stores Oct 4th.
CRYSIS
I had what i thought was a high end gaming rig at the time of the original release and on many of the stages it virtually came to a stand still with FPS dropping quicker than Frank Bruno in a boxing ring 
So it will be interesting to see what they have done with the console version and how it looks and plays,think its going to cost around £20 but the game is about 6 years old isn't it.
Still i bet it sells a hell of a lot and more than likely i may end up getting it myself if i hear decent things about it.

Oh yeah i forgot about that........This game you are going on about is getting some interesting previews with a lot of people saying it's a really good game.

Having played it on PC
its a decent game but was more of a benchmarking program tbh
though its better than Crysis2 which was aweful imho.

Depends if we are talking about consoles or PC here, personally i thought Crysis 2 was a very good game on the Playstation but sadly quickly forgotten once completed.
Never did get into the multiplayer part of the game as it seems to have not held my attention unlike the other game i don't care to mention at present that i have been raving on about for the past week.

When I had a go on it, I thought it was a bit like mw2 but with a little rpg style elements and including the rocky start (I admit it, I got in there  ).

I'm just saying that both games got hit hard in the mp side by exploits.
Oh and I gave mw2 a go on the 'other' matchmaking service/servers , and got called a hacker on some boring carnival map.
It's cleared off my hdd as I've never seen such bad opposition in my life, didn't think people could really sit in the same spots over and over and still have a moan. I'll just stick to CoD4 when I get the urge and want some proper competition.

The really ridiculous part is that it's deliberate. The official line is it stops people having to wait ages to join a game. The reality is it is a total mismatch most of the time. 
Roll on BF3 and the so called server browser. I've never actually seen one that offers ping options. Warhawk had one but you could only choose your game not the connection. If that doesn't work I'll have two options:
1. Buy a PC (expensive)
2. Nick a 300metre box of CATVe from work and stick a connector on each end.
That should knacker the latency nicely.

You could though, drop your internet to a cheaper version, go cold turkey, stop paying for xbox live, and sell your xbox.
You'll start seeing that you have plenty of money to build a pc in no time, and in the meantime you can continue to view TBB.

You'd get about £70 for an Xbox though then the Live is only £2.50 a month, that's a looooooot of saving for a nice gfx card

The trouble is it's fibre or half a meg on ADSL.
Tell you one thing though. If I do get to test out a proper server to match my ping and it works, I will be looking at PC's not PS4's next time round. I play at my mates and I'm top three every game. Play on my itsy bitsy ping and I always end up bottom 2 at 3-20 or something similar. Can you PC gamers tell me that proper server browsers stop that happening for the most part?

Well on PC you get to choose your server, make parties to shaft servers with or click matchmaking (play now basicly) but I prefer to choose.

And what's the average range on a server on a game such as battlefield?
0-30 ms or 30-50 ms etc etc.

The ASE was great before fecking Yah-fecking-hoo bought it and ran it into the ground.

For me its 32ms, but remember I live near Edinburgh with an interleaved line.
Also doesn't stop the high pingers joining and ruining it for everyone (high pingers sometimes look like they are doing nothing and just sponge your bullets).

Unmanned servers at the moment, should change on game launch, but I'm not going to buy bf3 on launch for the same reasons I didn't buy Crysis 2. Just don't believe that EA will let their devs release a decent game.
