Thanks for explaining what you meant. I think some unlocks - the attachements for weapons - are okay but there are too many of them and needless variety. And, as you and ilh both say, the copy and paste structure EA have for giving the same unlocks to to weapons that just don't need them is crazy.

Do we really need 10 or 20 different optical scopes? It takes too long to scroll through them all when most people are just going to use what is best: IR/strong magnification optics. All the rest is just mess.

So, in order not to sully this thread too much with talk of MW3 and assuming you've got it... what's the verdict mate? Any good or what?

Its very much the same as before matey only bigger and a little better with some fantastic new game modes.

Its one of the many positive reviews but there are also quite a few average ones doing the rounds also.

Its early days spook and i have posted some initial thoughts and views in other threads on these forums,from what i have played briefly single player it very intense ,survival mode is superb but only played it on my own and played Kill Confirmed online which was also brilliant.

Its MW Spook so if you loved the previous 2 then you will be well and truly happy but with a few added additions thrown in.

Controversial Edge Magazine gave the game a 9/10 and thats saying something given there track record over the past few years.

Oh and same Mag gave the new zelda a 10 .

Cheers bud, much appreciated. Those scores looked exceptionally high actually to the point of making me suspicious as I've read through some of the other links you posted now.

I'm not really into MW online so doubt I'll be buying it for any multiplayer action. Do you think it's still worth a purchase for the single player campaign? I will now go and watch some videos and again, cheers for taking the time out of your busy gaming schedule to fill noobs like me, in.

Watch out for the points boosters on hardcare mode, ie two engineers, not gonna go into to much more detail so as not to promote it!!!!

Hardcore mode gives you more points? Two engineers? Hmm.

Single player from what i have played spook about 1 hour is as good if not better than previous MW games,so if you thought the first two single player modes in MW were ok then you will like this.

I have heard it the shortest Cod game by far with some reports of it been finished in 4 hours but someone like you that equates to 4 weeks [ho ho ho]

You're probably right though, actually. I do take my time in games. BF3 sp didn't last me long at all though and I don't particularly wanna go and replay it so if MW3 sp is much shorter than MW2 then yeah, it might be a bit of a serious issue on top of everything else as I won't likely be buying it for the mp.

Haven't seen a mobile one yet. Maybe they are only in PC version??

64 player maps have the mobile AA.
