Unlock BF3 early

PC only I guess but here is what I did:

Follow instructions on link below:

Then close origin.

Then open origin.

Activate - load battlelog.

Wait until you can see options to join a campaign/play multiplayer and then turn off origin.

delete proxy server settings then open again in fast UKness.

Fair play to you, I'd have done exactly the same!!

How is joining games in the MP? Probably not as congested as it will be very soon!

On a side note, reading all the posts at the bottom of this page makes me think the kiddy accusations aren't uniquely a COD phenomenon.

Best online game retailer by far and that is coming from somebody that used Game for many years,not actually used them for Battlefield as i have quite a lot of store card credit at Blockbusters and Gamestation for games i have traded in.

I intend on picking up Battlefield 3 from Blockbusters Friday morning,same with Uncharted 3 the following Wednesday.

MW3 is pre/ordered with Shopto.net and has been for ages,but with this particular title i will be surprised if it turns up a day early.last years Black ops and really popular games like this that have review embargo and strict release day schedules don't normally arrive until day of release.

Last few games i have ordered from shopto like dead island i have had 2 days early and its major games that are the ones that possibly will arrive smack on time like Battlefield and MW .

But it looks like yours is set for Thursday so lets hope a week Monday we get another nice surprise matey

They should have somehow used keys that were region specific since they were stupid enough to try and split the launch of multiple days:/

Glad they have decided not to penalise those who have not found the stupidly easy work around

Guess this only works for those who ordered on Origin then? I don't know if Amazon got the message that the release date for BF3 has been moved forward.

I guess it must be - I think most guys in my clan just went for the origin option anyway. For companies posting games out I doubt there is much they can do to get the game out faster.

Gotta say I'm loving the maps so far (played some rush and conquest) but I have seen perhaps 7 of the 9 maps.

Single player seems a bit... meh. I will play it through but a lot of FPS struggle with plot lines in the SP. And let's face it - SP isn't why most of us are here!

So jealous you are all gaming already - all those lovely new maps. You will likely be relatively expert by the time my noob ass gets onboard. Not that it matters much anyway.

My playing style is so flaky my stats are all over the place with a negative Kill Death ratio (though I guess someone's gotta try and balance the equation out).

Roll on Friday or Monday (knowing Amazon). Tick tock tick tock.

But bf3 is not just kill ratio and thats the beauty...being the person who dies a lot, but stops the enemy tanks from causing havoc can mean a win for the team

Thats what I spent most of my time doing on MOH. Not that many people admit to enjoying playing that game online for long.

Why on earth are you using Amazon when i have posted on here many times that the best online game retailer which guarantees to get your games on day of release or compensates your account.

Not only that most games you order if not all of them will arrive a day or two early,if i have used shopto.net 50 times then on 48 of those occasions my games have arrived early.

Seems there are plenty of people knocking the single player aspect of this game and it is something most reviewers have commented on.

I am not overly surprised. Don't get me wrong it looks nice, and some of the scripted bits look really nice, but, I can't seem to get immersed into it like I can with MP. I should also add that I am not a massive way through the SP campaign as well - but it is hard for convince myself to throw time at that when I know that I could be having a real blast online.

I'm in shock.

I've just received a text message from Shopto.net saying my BF3 order has been dispatched. The shocking bit being, it has a photo of the parcel with my name and address on it attached to the text.

Like I said, shocked but in a good way!

No. That's right and that's kind of the way I play, very self sacrificially. It doesn't get your name on the leaderboards and no one really credits you unless you're working in a close knit squad.

Most of the time I'm on the losing team - I know there are plenty of people who jump sides if they feel their team is taking a hammering but I just can't do that. I stay on the side I end up on usually (unless a friend is on the opposing side) and no matter how many times we're stuffed I will doggedly carry on.

I am very excited by the prospect of dying loads more in BF3. Let the under-rewarded unnoticed self sacrifice begin!

Amazon are the cheapest and reliable. They might not be the quickest but it's free.

I did sign up to ShopTo.net but forgot my login details and I couldn't rescue the a/c. The site won't allow you to create new a/cs that are registered to the same premises. ShopTo even still have £2.00 odd of my money after failing to recredit my a/c when signing up. I know, I need to give them a call, I just haven't gotten round to it.

Reliable is not a word i would associate with Amazon Spook to be honest,and there must be a way of retrieving your account details and login and password or something.

Normally its just use your email that you signed up with and hey presto !

Thats there updated shipping method but the name on the bag is not you its me.........If you look carefully its been delivered to my address and time2die can clearly be seen now i have hacked into your shopto account.

Actually, now I come to reflect upon it, the problem is ShopTo used to spam me and there was no way of opting out of their weekly/daily/hourly/whatever newsletters. I took umbrage to this and tried the old log in to your ShopTo a/c and change your email address to some made up rubbish and voila: be rid of annoying spam you can't opt out of.

Anyway, that would have worked of course except for the time when I tried to create a new ShopTo a/c and having added bank card details and having the a/c verified (ie - ShopTo deduct £2 that they are MEANT to then refund), they then tell me my address is already registered so you HAVE to use that instead, no choice. Of course, I don't know the email address - I just typed some random [censored] so no way to log in. I didn't want to call these people right away and just haven't gotten around to it. They still owe me a couple of quid and I can't be doing with them as they are often not the cheapest and I don't really care if I have to wait a little while for a game and don't get it on release.

So, long story short: my efforts to block ShopTo's spam kind of backfired. Amazon haven't failed me. I could endlessly wax lyrical about them but don't. I'll be happy just to receive the game but, being BF3, having it by the time the week is out would be nice. I can wait though, there are other things I can be doing.

EDIT: I've wired a million bucks to your paypal a/c, t2d. I sure hope that's you by the way, I wouldn't want the money to go to just anybody. Hope you can turn me into as good a player as yourself. Let the education begin.

Joking aside, it wouldn't surprise me if it did turn up at your pad. The amount of lost/delayed parcels round our way is almost criminal.

All the postmans' kids could be getting BF3 for Christmas, lol!
