You're kidding me? It looks AWESOME!

Think GTA IV's main weakness: that it wasn't anywhere near as versatile or wide ranging as GTA San Andreas but bring it graphically up to date with a new storyline & more humour and we should be in for a treat.

Planes? Check. Mountainous environments. Yup. New cool soundtrack? Oh yes. Let the shenanigans begin all over again.

Roll on end of 2013 or whenever it's released for PC.

Cheers for the link but I couldn't see any mention of GTA V there. (Article was dated 5th October 2011.) Perhaps I just misread what you were trying to say though.

For me, in that post, Rockstar confirms they have no intention of abandoning the PC platform and will be releasing Max Payne 3 and LA Noire but not RDR.

They cite technical, developmental and business decisions in the viability of producing a game for a particular platform and why RDR won't likely be getting a release. As the news was a month before Rockstar officially announced GTA V then I don't think they are referring to that at all.

Hopefully we won't have to wait too long for a PC release. I never doubted GTA 5 will appear on the PC but I'm not hopeful it'll be released at the same time as the Xbox and PS3. I love my GTA though and just hearing about GTA 5 makes me want to reinstall and play them all again.

Clearly I overstated it somewhat but it shows they're not abandoning the PC at least, as you say. The wait I don't mind so much. I've yet to play IV, even though it's been in my Steam list for quite some time. x)

You've not played GTA IV yet? Wow. There's restraint for you. I held off a while myself after PC releases, long enough for Rockstar to iron out all the bugs. I think it must have been quite a while after release that I got it then!

If you start playing GTA IV now and then the expansions you might find you don't have too long to wait till GTA 5 hits the PC.

Ha. Yeah, I'm a bit like that myself. I have plenty of games from a good few years back that I never really played properly. A couple of games still in their wrappers even. That Brothers in Arms one or whatever it was called: that went to the charity shop in a clear out.

Plenty of others that ought to be gotten rid of too.

Imagine if T2D kept all his old games? There wouldn't be room to move even if he lived in a mansion!

Just for the record the above quote is a joke and i have not played it and it was meant as a little bit of Banter between Spooky Battlefield and Time2die MW ..

Somewhere in the back of a delivery Van sitting on someones drive is my copy of MW3 and Boy im like a Kid in a toy shop and i just can not wait for this to turn up.

Yep when it cones to Buying games this year the name Basil does spring to mind on some of the games purchased.
