Think yourself lucky they've ruined it frown

You can buy all weapon and vehicle upgrades now so loads of people are flying around in jets and helis with all up grades, it's a nightmare

If people are that bad they need to buy the unlocks then let them, should not be in the game as whats the point in playing it, do have to wonder at the point of buying the game then buying all the unlocks.

I would think that there was quite a high percentage of players with most/all unlocks for vehicles anyway by now (or at least all for things like the tank/attack heli/jet which are the widespread in maps). Not everyone, but maybe 50% in games I played.

Yea I see what you're saying
It costs £7.99 for all air upgrades
I think if you want to stay alive you are going to need all defences especially now that jets are becoming more of a pain

I unlocked all jet things a while back but I am still not very good. I don't think the unlocks massively alter the planes (or maybe I am just not very good!)

The only two unlocks that benefit air are flares and air radar, aside from that the other unlocks only alter the killing potential of the plane, how you fly it is the main part.

Just be glad jets do not have bombs like they did in bf2.

I'm more of a danger to myself than anyone else when I'm in a jet.
The world goes by in a blur, spotting someone is a miracle, if I managed to do that I think I'd go to pieces and crash before I could even think about aiming at them smile

I scored 150 points in a jet by accidentally crashing into a flag just as it was being captured, no idea where the other 52 points came from :/

Downloaded Karkand and the update. It's still lags its nuts off.

And is certainly not pretty to look at on the PS3, it's actually quite painful.

If I'm reading it right, they want PS3 players to turn off Anti Aliasing to cure input lag. That sounds like a bizarre admission to be honest. It's jagged enough on the PS3 as it is.

The game was never any good in the first place just like MW3 that has quickly passed me by.

I found Battlefield way to slow for my liking and Dice in my opinion have not got a clue how to make a decent single player game, thought MW3 was the better game but there is no denying that this is just a 2.5 and the more i think about it the more i actually think Black Ops was better even though i hate to admit it.

I really think that COD and Battlefield games need to up the anti and unless come this November i do see a major improvement in black Ops 2 i am seriously going to consider not bothering since i dont play either Battlefield or MW3 any more and they have basically lost the appeal.

Obviously MW3 i have become somewhat bored with considering i played the 1st MW none stop for about 8 months and within a matter of weeks the novelty has wore of with MW3.

The patch arrived for the PC yesterday and I have noticed a few issues already:

1) claymores seem to explode approximately 8 days after someone runs over them making them largely pointless.
2) Grenade spam is a reality - the ammo bags dish them out about every 2 seconds and it takes about 3 to throw them (might be making up figures there but the point is you can have a grenade ready to throw before you have finished throwing the last one!).
3) My clan mate Squid has already started complaining massively that everything is broken again. Urg.

I have toyed with the idea of renting a server for one week just to see if I can set it for 10-15ms pingers only if that is possible. As that theoretically would remove the lag I would then be able to give a formed opinion of a game I wanted to like!

Trouble is, it would probably take me longer than that to work out how to use it! Have you not thought of trying one out of interest Swanny?

For bc2, you had to get a server or have someone running procon, a server administration tool (yes server support is [censored] in Dice land). So add that on to your costs of running a bf3 server, that and the tool can introduce some bugs or even cause the server to crash. Fun times.

I'd rather let someone else have the hassles and set one up.
Some of the servers we were playing on last night were starting at 1000 tickets which makes very long games smile

1000 tickets is much too long for one game
We've been looking for normal servers with only 300 tickets

1000 tickets is okay if you want a really long game for mass points or a ton of one side domination.

Obsolete hardware giving you aggro eh?

Come to PC...we have 35,000 ticket servers. That's a real WAR.

http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/servers/show/0a... for example. Top guy currently in it has 900 kills this round. Splendid.

You spelled Conquest wrong btw (you've given it a 'g'). 35,000 tickets on Metro and friendly fire is off. I hope you guys have a lot of ammo.
