Off Topic .....New film Total Recall......Why ?

Thought the Arnie Film at the time was really good but browsing the internet i see we have another reboot of a famous film doing the rounds this summer.

Dont get me wrong it looks very good indeed but im just curious as why you would make a second film exactly like the first but with different actors like colin Farrell .

Why do they keep making films where core story is Othelo?
It does have Kate Beckinsale in it though.

Main difference is set on earth not Mars this time it seems. Still watch the original when it cycles around the movie channels, as some classic scenes.

If no one goes to the cinema to see it, and the same for other remakes they may do less of them.

Some of the best acting I have witnessed in a long time.

Dunno who that lump in the back is though.
