Getting the hang of BF 3 now, I think - do very well on Conquest maps!

Finished second tonight after leading for the best part of 1 hour.........Jesus some maps go on for ages as both teams started with 900 points and at the end we had 343 left and i finished with 24,000 second place.

Kill/death ratio was rubbish........Think i killed people 10 times and died 40,mind you this is not about killing as its points make prizes aint it.

Think this particular map went on for the best part of 90 minutes i kid you not ,next time i am going to fit myself up with some of them TENA ladies panty pads as another 2 minutes and the house would have been flooded and it would not have been the rainfall we have had the last 2 months either

Hahaha. Cracking up mate! Yeah, I know what you mean. I think some gamers keep a bottle or a bucket by their side just for that very reason.

Myself, I used to dash out between maps. I was so quick I could relieve myself and make a fresh cuppa tea all before the next map had gotten going too far. Just in time before auto-idle kick came in.

Yeah mate it's the longest game i have ever played online and i was bursting at the seams.

So far I've just been doing small campaign maps and a couple of deathmatches, although the former is preferable.

It does seem to have a very convoluted way of starting a game though, but thats EA for you...

I generally go for the stealth approach for capturing the different areas - take over them over whilst hiding too

Could always just go to the loo once you have died and are waiting to spawn again.

Yea top player doesn't always have highest number of kills

I try to wait till between maps but sometimes have no choice but to go when I die

But you are right i could go make a cup of tea and answer call of nature providing i don't get kicked for inactivity,i can not believe how long some of these matches last.

I could watch a film and the match Conquest on a big map with 2 equal teams will still be playing

I play on a server with only a 3 map rotation. Caspian, Kraggy and Firestorm.
It's set at 300% so games are just about the right length
I've been on maps like Metro in the past with something like 1200 tickets :/

Think the most i have seen is 900 tickets and after about 80 minutes i left and got quite tired as it was getting late and the team loosing still had about 300 left .

I think when the one team has all the flags on occasions then the timer needs to count down a lot faster.
