Should work now........Sorry don't know what happened there.

Has to be the worse map in Cod history and every time that map came on i disconnected without hesitation, maps way to small and its just one mammoth spawn killing frenzy and to me no fun whatsoever .

Zombies YES.........But Nuketown..........Not interested.

Guess you wont be moving from Battlefields then Swanny wink

Tell you I'm getting pretty desperate for some new games and even if Black ops 2 gets the same review treatment as MW3 from certain people calling it Black ops 1.2 or whatever I'm still buying it basically because i just realised that Infinity Ward [whats left of them ] have been crapping all over us and Black Ops was a way better game than both MW2 and MW3.

Besides Zombie built from the ground up using the multiplayer engine with way bigger maps and 8 player co/op has be sold on this alone.

Treyarch know how to make a game, Infinity Ward did know back when they released COD4 Modern Warfare but since then it has been disappointing to say the least. I have much preffered World at War & Black Ops.

Just read this about the gameplay on Black Ops 2, sounds really interesting to be fair...

Strike Force missions
Black Ops II will be the first Call of Duty video game to feature branching storylines, in which the player's choice affects both the current mission and in turn, the overall course of the story. Known as "Strike Force missions", these branching storylines will appear during the 2025 storyline and will feature permanent death. The success or failure of these missions can have ramifications for the wider campaign storyline. Choosing one of the missions locks out the others unless the player begins a fresh campaign.[8]
Strike Force missions allow the player to control a number of different war assets, such as unmanned aerial vehicles, jet fighters and robots. If the player dies in a Strike Force mission, the campaign continues recording that loss, as opposed to letting the player load a previously saved checkpoint. The player's progress in the Strike Force missions may go on to change even the plans of the story's antagonist, Raul Menendez.[8] By the end of the game, the player may have changed the results of the new Cold War, and the player will be shown what could have gone differently.

I'm really looking forward to it now. The new zombies sounds much improved and will hopefully return it to what it was originally, a good crack. smile

And I've always felt the campaigns were far more impressive than the MP, but have understandably (and sometimes blatantly) felt a little on rails. Strike force mode sounds like it could break that up nicely, but without leaving it pointlessly open.

And for the record, after Modern Warfare I thought World at War was the most enjoyable episode.

Just think zombies with the multiplayer engine.........smile just wish with only 10 weeks to go you would have thought we would have actually seen a little footage.

Lets face it in previous Zombie games they were good but them guns were kind of rubbish if I'm honest, hoping now them guns actually react like the ones in the multiplayer.

If it means giving you a good thrashing then I'm all for it,saying that i did try and join one of your games once or invited you into one of mine but i think you declined.........Sort of got a little frightened of T2D kicking your butt me thinks tongue

So on that note and the fact i have been shafted a few times with the last versions of COD like the hardened edition and the elite service for MW3 i think i will stick with a standard package 360 only.

If the game ends up being something then i will consider optional extra for download content when its out or what is there pricing based on 12 months subscription opposed to monthly downloadable content.

Lets face it what we have seen released for MW3 over the past 8 months has left a lot to be desired.

No it's true, seriously...... I'm not fussy who I play with . tongue

But I am really bored with gaming at the moment. Saints Row is keeping me occupied but certainly not stimulated. And I'm not really in the mood for thoughtful either, Journey still being on my "later" list. I'm craving something like uncharted but nothing appeals in the second hand rack either.

Dreary days. frown

Nah the guns were good in Zombie mode, they were exactly the same as multiplayer. The point was the zombies got more life everytime you survived a round to make it more difficult. I hope it stays that way, the format of it is really good. The perks / weapons / pack a punch are all good fun as well as the traps, just hope they can innovate slightly and make it so that at rounds 35 - 40+ you can have more powerful weapons. I always got stuck on round 40 on Der Riese because my pack a punched Browning was no longer any good and I was stuck with a Ray Gun and Wunderwaffe!

There has not been a better WWII FPS , it is the best and campaign was the best of any COD title , as its the only one to date that let you play the campaign in CoOp mode .

Its strange thou that after a while people can look back and realize WaW really was not as bad as many in the community felt it was at the time .

Treyarch got a really ruff ride over WaW and i still feel they could not of done much better than they did , considering it came after COD4 with its modern guns and kill streaks .

Blops2 is having a ground up rebuild of MP which does concern me a little but the game does need to change up and i personally feel Treyarch are the only developer that can pull of such a change . Lets hope i don't end up eating my hat as such changes can lead to a really unbalanced game play .

Anyway , if they drop InfinityWards version of Lag compensation they will of already gone a long way in making the community happy .

The guns where nothing like multiplayer Jaxx and the developer has stated this in there previous review of the zombies coming to Black ops 2.

It was very independent add on that opened up on the completion of world at war but became something many people loved,Treyarch are saying now that it will feel like the multiplayer game because now it will be part of the multiplayer engine which it wasn't before.

In what way were they not the same then? It felt no different to me, yes the map they put on it was just an after thought but then after that things like Der Rise and Shi No Numa were a lot better. I certainly never had any issues with the guns on Zombies, always survived until a high wave and never felt they were underpowered until the very later rounds, which was down to the Zombies having more life not the guns.... crazy

I often thought they weren't as responsive. A tad of input lag or something, but they did definitely feel less balanced. I noticed it because after switching to fibre I rarely bothered with MP and stuck to zombies. Then on the rare occasion I flirted with MP again it did feel a lot "tighter".

I guess it could of still just been down to my connection though.

The guns were sluggish and slow and never felt like anything in the multiplayer game Black Ops,the hit detection was very poor and the game at the time when they made it was a afterthought,a little added bonus if you must.

Fire up a copy of Black ops and test out the weapons then go play Zombies,Besides half the automatic weapons in multiplayer were never in Zombies in the first place.

Yea I know it was an afterthought, you're repeating yourself again mate wink but like I say I just never noticed any difference with the guns really. But I did put hundreds of hours into Zombies, so maybe I am just so used to it I don't recognise it in multiplayer. I didn't play multiplayer a lot on blacks op, but I did on WAW.
