Im just praying it lives up to the awesome videos and it don't turn out to be a average game,i remember once sometime back seeing a fantastic looking game,then it got released and it was a huge disappointment with terrible reviews.

Somehow i don't see this with this game.

No mate that already looked bad but i this dummy still bought it ....Well for about 20 minutes that is as i could not wait to take the [censored] back.

I actually made up a story and said i got the wrong game or someone had bought it me for a birthday present,more like a birthday nightmare i dare say.

Yeah, you mean that bit at 2min 50sec or there abouts where they torture that poor guy? Really turns you off dunnit. Or it does if you're normal I guess. Sickening. But amazing how far games have come graphically that their realism can have that kind of response. I don't want to torture anybody I don't think. Even if it is just a pixellated non playable character or some real bod playing as another character and I definitely don't think (sounding all self righteous) I'd really want to see any kid playing out that kind of thing either, even if it is make believe.

But the game does look pretty amazing other than that. The level of graphical detail makes you wonder if that isn't some super PC playing it. I don't know how well your PS3 or 360 could handle all that. 60 frames per second? I don't think so!

Upgrade time again I guess.

Hahaha. I wonder how many people used that excuse? It's hard to see how Far Cry 3 could be a bad game even if it's only about blowing stuff up and the lush scenery. The setting is pretty unique as far as I know and the game characters are pretty amazing so the story has to be halfway good at least. So me reckons, providing my comp is capable of playing it, that it's a first day purchase for sure!


Then it's simply a question of patches and driver updates and the usual fixes I guess.

The proofs in the reviews matey and they are pretty solid with some exceptional ones.

That wasn't a baseball bat he was swinging, it was the butt of an assault rifle he hit him with. Makes all the difference of course.

Mate, don't you know by now that the only review we trust is yours? Does the game pass the one week test? That's the question. And when you're still playing it a fortnight later and you're still ranting and raving about it, then we know it must be really good. And if the magic words 'sleeper hit' crops up then we know it must be REALLY REALLY REALLY good.

Nice review scores help Spook and i have yet to enjoy a game that has received poor review scores,based on what i have watched and seen I'm calling this as Game Of the Year before i have even played it.

Also why I'm on the subject Hitman Absolution is also a stunning game but i know where my money is for the game i am going to enjoy the most..

Ha, I seem to remember you saying the same about COD Black Ops 2 I reserve judgement until I play a game, it's all well and good reading about gameplay features and watching videos on YouTube but ultimately it's what you enjoy when you play the game. The gameplay videos a lot of the time are on high end PC's anyway so are irrelevant for me on my Xbox.

Well search and watch xbox footage then Jaxx as there is plenty on youtube and the game still looks stunning on that platform.

Actually i was looking forward to Black Ops but not in the way of times of the past,on not one occasion have i said that Black Ops will be game of the year and i have even said that its going to be similar stuff to what we already have,certain parts of black ops is decent but like i have said it needs a new engine.
