Max Payne 3

Just finished the last of my Christmas games, and very good it was too.

There are a few slight niggles : it's very easy for Max to get stuck on the scenery. Apparently Rockstar know about it but haven't produced a fix for the PC version yet.

Next, some of the checkpoints are too far apart - the airport terminal level being a prime example, making the level a lot more repetitive than it should be.

However, there are some excellent levels - namely the boat and bus chases, which are very good...

I got as far as the football stadium and then got bored :/

Duke Nukem may have had its many flaws but I did finish it, for nostalgia reasons.

I look at so many demos and find me regretting the time taken to download and install.

Which is kind of expected given your love of one certain type of game.

Flaws........How long have you got.

Looked like the original game from about 15 years ago and that's been kind.

It's been double XP as well so haven't had a chance to get on FC3 for a while either

The airport terminal levels were the most irritating ones for me - whilst it was all Die Hard 2 (when ol' Maxy has his mid-life crisis (aka disguise) he does look a lot like Bruce Willis), the checkpoints were way too far apart especially as the lounge is large.

It was also the map where the aforementioned bug was at its worst... It does almost ruin the game.

Fortunately the finale makes up for it (although if you want to play that part you have to go through the other parts...
