The Last Of Us.....hurry up and get in my Playstation 3

More than likely the last big title i will buy for the ageing Playstation 3,but when you look at games of this quality it makes you wonder why so many developers fail to match what some can do.

More to do with exclusivity and the fact that Naughty dog are not 3rd party developers but Tied to Sony,only wish this game had not been put back 3 months until June14th as we all could have been enjoying this brilliant looking game in the colder months rather than the middle of Summer if we get one

Actually, that trailer was pretty gruesome wasn't it? Very scary to think of the world turning out like that. I'm confident this game won't be another Dead Island: smashing trailer but relatively poor story/game.

But... we'll have to wait and see if the game has a full tank in 'er or if she's a-running-on-empty. Great trailers don't always make good games as I've found out. Anyway, it's all academic to me until you lend me that PS3 of course!

If i thought you would actually use it then i would be more than happy for you to have it once the Playstation 4 arrives,mrnelster wants to upgrade and i have said that i will post him my Playstation 1 at the end of the year

It depends on the trade in value that shops such as Blockbusters and Game give you once the Playstation 4 arrives,but i think they will be offering peanuts for them if I'm honest.

The last of Us will be a gem Spooky no doubts about it,naughty dog don't make rubbish games.

Ah that makes sense. Prob one of those electric chair things that you tilt you forward when you wanna get up. I'll be okay hanging upside down from the ceiling though: batman style. We'll have to turn the tv upside down too though. Hope timey's all right with that.

It's all about having 'focus' on what you should be looking at, the details is there and processing not wasted elsewhere.

I don't know what bit you were looking at, but it looks the dog's danglies to me. Different folks, different strokes as they say. I was going to give this a miss to see how it reviewed, but that clip confirmed my pre order.

If you like your games to have depth to the story (and I do), I doubt this will dissapoint. From what I've read, the pacing of this game sounds spot on.

Dead Island was a horrible experience. Bought it based on the trailer and was severely let down to the point I'll never buy another game from Deep Silver.

The Last Of Us does look like a great game, though it's a shame I don't have a PS3.

This game will be up there with Game of The year and obviously he don't own a playstation 3

We had a power cut tonight and it took me the best part of 30 minutes to get to the top of the stairs as me chairlift failed.

There life in this old dog yet and when i get you two on a playstation 4 I'm going to whoop your backsides,thats if mrnelster has fixed or someone has sorted his online issues out.

Could say that about 99% of games if not all of them so i don't get your point,the game looks awesome and it will have exciting gameplay and a real good story with top notch graphics on a ageing Playstation 3.

And i bet when the Playstation 4 arrives most developers will still take years to even match this game apart from the in house developers for Sony

There doesn't appear to be a problem with the string. I've checked the cup on the router, the cup on the Playstation, even the knots in the bottoms, but to no avail.

I suppose I could try swapping out the Wild Beans for a couple of Costas, but they're not cheap.

Naughty Dog is trying to change things with its upcoming PlayStation 3 exclusive, The Last of Us. There are plenty of post-apocalyptic games out there, but Naughty Dog wants to do something different than the usual zombies and angry survivors bit. It also wants violence to be a last resort in its game. Last but not least, Naughty Dog wants to make sure that its game is prepped and balanced for players of both sexes, and doing so was apparently not as easy as you�d think.

Actually Spooky nobody on here is more negative about games than me,the guys more than likely got a valid point in saying you are only seeing what the developers won't you to see and it don't look that good outside this box,could you not apply that logic to nearly every single game released.

Tha fact is the game will be a great experience and I have a very high regard for developers like naughty dog,unlike the developers of Alien colonial marines and duke puke em forever.

It will be one of the games of the year on last generation consoles guaranteed .

Said who,the PC Fanboy who misses out on games that rarely reach the PC market,and when they do they are basic console ports that look little to no difference on your all singing and dancing rigs,developers have eloped mate and days of PC being lead platform have gone because the money is in consoles,10 ,12 years ago everything good regarding gaming was on a PC and a small after thought on a console may be 12 months later,now the majority of the time the PC is the last platform To get the game and on many occasions its never released.

Put that in your bat pipe and smoke it Spooky Baby .

Only Battlefield to my knowledge is one of the top games dedicated as lead platform on PC and possibly a few others but the majority of money and development is spent on consoles.

I don't make these facts up Spooky they come from various game designers and developers that have made these comments over the years and are still making them on a weekly basis on different gaming websites.

Remember like you i was once a avid PC gamer and i new that if i wanted to be into gaming then the PC was the best and most obvious choice to make.

I don't know your exact age but there was a time when virtually every decent game that got released was PC only and very rarely did it make it to a console,more than likely because those were the days of the Playstation 1 and consoles like sega dreamcast.

Walk into any game establishment now and you be lucky to see one shelf with PC games on them and the other 99% of shop space full of console choices.

We all know that the PC is a brilliant gaming device and when it has a tailored made game developed for that system in mind in runs rings around anything console related,but those days are frankly all but over and as we move forward into next generation consoles then even those exclusive PC games are going to look even closer on a dedicated gaming Playstation 4......

Remember its got no operating system such as windows slowing it down and when the top developers get to grips with it I'm sure most gamers like myself will be happy,16 times more ram than a Playstation 3 for starters and fast ram at that.........Bring it on..........Go get in the queue for a Playstation 4 and see the other side of gaming as im sure you will enjoy it.

Now back to one of my favourite games in years for a replay......Red Dead Redemption.
