Mad or what, eh?
Perhaps this would give T2D something to occupy his mind with for the next few days and help mrnelster catch up on all those gaming greats he's missed over the years?
Of course, with my PC I wouldn't personally need anything like that.

Yeah i saw this video the other week and the console is the size of large cardboard box and don't look much better, its retro [censored] Spook and i have little to no interest in that.

I thought you would have pre/ordered one I admire his patience and effort and man hours in building something like that but it looks like some square microwave oven .

You two have no appreciation. All that hard work and dedication and the mad genius to pull it off. Yeah, I suppose having a fire extinguisher handy might be a good thing.

I admire his hard work, dedication and genius [stark raving bonkers], but there is just too much damn wood in the design!

That's crazy talk!

|
|
Yeah he built a console to occupy the space he had left on his Shelf .......Really.........
|
|
|
Comes in handy November 5th though.
Spook there is no custom built perch on it so thats you out the equation Bat Boy
|
|
|
No zimmerframe mod or false teeth holder either...

Yeah he built a console to occupy the space he had left on his Shelf .......Really......... He said so in his video. Did you not watch it all the way to the.....hang on. That really is a stupid question!

Lol! Thought as much. TBH I skipped most of it, I just happened to stumble upon that part. What a waste of 3500 hours though?
With that I could have built a time machine. Pop back and play whatever you like, when you like and spare shelf space for more of those ornaments, which keeps the other half happy to boot.

3500 hours? That probably helps explain why the guy was so much older than I was expecting. He likely started the project at 12 years of age. It just took him a while to complete it. Wasn't expecting a middle aged man calling himself Bacteria narrating that, that's for sure.
Actually, I just looked at the pictures and didn't look at the video at all. T2D is sooo predictable isn't he mate? Hehe.
What could you do with 3500 hours dedicated to a project? What could I do I wonder? 3500 hours is a lot of time innit. I could lose the belly, tidy my flat till it's shining or maybe recreate the garden of eden out back instead of the garden of weeds. So many possibilities. 3500 hours? That's 2 hours a day for the best part of 5 years if my calculations are correct. Or, 9 and a half hours every day for a whole year. Either way, that's a lot of manpower innit. Just a shame I'm no good at diy or anything useful like that.

Never mind that fire waiting to happen. Check out the R-KAID-6.
If you're gonna do it, do it properly. Worth watching the whole thing (that includes you Timey!) just for the effort the guy has put into the engineering. That two part controller is awesome.

This is far more classy. Beautifully engineered though the guy cheated and used an emulator so it doesn't count even if it can do everything the other one can and has cool joysticks (and passes fire safety checks).
On the subject of 3500 hours then, I wonder how many hours were put into this beast? Okay, so you could outcrawl it if you had to but it gets 10/10 for looking cool.

No thanks i would rather watch paint dry ... you pair of sad people.
|
|
|
What about the beast? That's not sad is it? At a walking pace of 1.5km/h, I expect even you and your zimmerframe can do better but that's not the point is it? It's all about pushing boundaries of science and technology: opening up new frontiers for achieving the same age old problems in new and more complicated ways! Exciting isn't it?

What you going on about now because i have not got a clue............

The beast, man. The beast! Put the right pair of glasses on you OAP!! Take your brain out the pickle jar...

Okay, so you could outcrawl it if you had to but it gets 10/10 for looking cool. Risking accusations of being puddle deep for noting it does not have any guns, I would just like to say (in my opinion) it needs more guns.
