Serious Sam 3 : BFE

Recently brought this (despite not liking SS1 and it being on Steam), and it is a great game. Its non-stop action all the way and some sections are rather hard due to the amount of enemies rushing towards you...

It does have some problems - you cant reload whilst running and changing weapons isn't always smooth...

In game video, scripting and acting was obviously done with all expenses spared as some of it is rather... poor...

Hectic (looks like it could be fun for a bit) but what's with the frame rate? Frogger jumps less than that and the game sound was a proper mish mash as well! Downloadable title quality I'd say.

And talk about console loading times, were you loading that from cassette?

Fraps really slows things down - Serious Sam 3 is the worst offender for it though so far...

It slows down all I/O access as well unfortunately too...

You don't get long before each wave arrives...

Just completed this! Its one of the few FPS that has taken over 3 days to complete, with the last level taking several as its so long...

Now do it again finding all the secrets.

I have all the serious sams and though they are much the same, gameplay wise (LOTS of shooting) , the story is pretty good and the multiplayer co-op is a lot of fun.

Na - don't bother with that...
