Review embargo of the game lifts tomorrow and at present there are 3 reviews of the game on the internet all giving it perfect scores.
But the biggest surprise has to be the latest one by Edge Magazine that also gave the game a 10/10.
Only the 15th time in Edges History has this happened .
10/10 for the last of us.

Nice one mate. Just pre-ordered!

Kevin Dent is an industry insider, and according to reports from him the lowest score that this game gets one the embargo lifts completely tomorrow is 93/100
Is this going to be one of the biggest scoring games of all time and up there with the likes of GTA4 and Zelda and Mario 64.

The Last of Us has received critical acclaim. British film magazine Empire has given the game a perfect 5 out of 5 score, stating that "The Last of Us is not just the finest game that Naughty Dog has yet crafted and an easy contender for the best game of this console generation, it may also prove to be gaming's Citizen Kane moment, a masterpiece that will be looked back upon favourably for decades".[41] Official PlayStation Magazine echoed the positivity in their review, also giving the game a perfect 10 out of 10 score, calling the game "A work of art in which amazing sights and sounds fuel an emotionally draining, constantly compelling end of days adventure".[42]
Straight from Wiki, it sounds epic! Shame I don't have a PS3, my housemate has just got one though so I may buy it to play it on his

Well then you owe it to yourself to buy it and play on your mates Playstation 3,but I'm surprised that he would not be buying the game him/herself.
Games don't come along like this to often and its then time to move on to next generation and will more than likely the last game i buy this year until the arrival of the Playstation 4
Only a Exceptional E3 Microsoft Roadshow will have me slightly interested in a Xbox One,and seriously i doubt very much that they can convince me otherwise after there recent presentation and there focus.

If the game sells well then we could see ports to PC etc a few months after release though will wait and see if the game lives up to the high reviews.

I agree. If it's that good it will be on everything sooner or later. Games are made to make money
|
|
|
You say that but where's Red Dead on the PC? Did I miss it?
|
|
|
But you have its called your PC in your darkened office tucked away from the real world.
More to Gaming than just a PC my friend........
PC gaming was once the master and its not so cool these days and games are not as prolific as they once were unfortunately and developers have eloped to consoles as there is more money in that platform and far more players.
Don't get me wrong as i was once a avid PC gamer but to have the best of both worlds you have to try other Gaming devices.

Swanny your living in cloud Cuckoo land if you think a First party Sony developed game would ever grace a Microsoft system.
Naughty dog are a developer owned by Sony and there is not a chance in hell this would ever grace a Xbox or PC or any other system for that matter.
Only multi platform developed game make it on all devices, obviously Halo made it to the PC which is obvious as Bungie at the time were part of Microsoft, now they have moved on and work with Activision and there new game Destiny will be on all the platforms.

Ok well it's a missed opportunity to make money then

Well given how many years Sony has reported losses they may have to rethink the whole "1st party exclusives" part of their business model for games.
As the PS4 and Xbox One will use the same architecture we MAY see in order to generate revenue a deleayed release like we saw with Skyrim etc with time limited exclusives.
I can't remember where I saw the stats but it was reported PC gaming still took 19% of the market with consoles being at approx 40% in total.
So the PC isn't down and out like the console manufacturers leave us to believe.
But it all depends on how the top brass of any company decides their stratergy and most large companies would rather go bust than admit to making a mistake and backtracking on past descions.
Anyways for gaming currently I am playing the X series on linux nativly which I enjoy even though it is aking to playing an animated spreadsheet and on Windows I am playing star drive which is a real time/turn based hybrid of Masters Of Orion and it is just like PC gaming in the past quite hard to start but addictive as hell once you get going.

Hahahaha...
Yes, my PC is tucked away in my darkened office... but even though I have a controller, I just can't get on with it!!! As for using a console, well although I'm sorely tempted my other half would be reaching for the phone to the Old Folks' Home, she'd think I'd finally gone doo-lally
I rely on the times when she's watching Neighbours or Eastenders on telly to get away to my PC for a bout of Deliverance or Grid 2, I can't see myself in the living room, hogging the TV with my PS3....
Games on PC are totally fab atm, I'm quite happy...

Yes but you must want to have the chance to play certain games like the playstation 3 exclusive The last of us and a whole host of others.
Occasionally there are games on a PC that I would not mind playing, but sadly not that often, what I do miss is how much better the likes of games like Crysis look on a PC compared to a console .
But with the Playstation 4 on the horizon things are going to be a lot closer in the graphical department and I'm sure top developers such as Naughty Dog will be giving us some mighty impressive/immersive games in the future.
Wouldn't you like to play the new Killzone game on your PC which will be on the Playstation 4,we have been stuck with ageing hardware for 7 years now and times are going to get better come end of the year and I'm not talking about the sad looking media machine that is the Xbox one either.
