Ps3 download speeds

Is poor speeds from the playstation store normal?
I'm wired with bt infinity 80mb and connect at the full speed but ps3 downloads are abysmal!!!

Yeah they have always been about 5 times slower than xbox live and i hope Sony sort it out with the Playstation 4 because not only are the downloads slow you then have to go through another painful wait for a install procedure that in some cases takes just as long.

Don't forget it is then followed by a further wait for updates

Eugh, that doesnt sound like a pleasant experience, I have owned an Xbox 360 for 7 years now and have never experienced anything like that with it. I am hoping to jump ship when the PS4 is released because of the obvious reasons so I really hope Sony sort that mess out.

Its always been an issue and a chore downloading anything from the playstation store which is 3/4 times slower than the xbox live service,not only that there are many updates that take forever and finally when you do download the file you have to wait again for a install procedure.

Im sure Sony are well aware of the problem and hoping it will be put right when the playstation 4 ships end of year,why they have not done so already is anyones guess.

You just said pretty much exactly the same as what you said above lol

I hope they sort it out too, as I will more than likely be jumping ship to PS4 after 7 years of happy Xbox gaming

I know Jaxx i repeated myself but i was just answering the thread from the previous poster and besides there was little to nothing happening on these forums yet again and it was another opportunity to repeat myself.

As i know how much you love seeing my numerous posts which virtually say the same thing
