Watched the EA one this afternoon and it was like watching paint dry.

MS didn't even bother this morning so hopefully Sony will not disappoint.

Not interested in anything EA does apart from Battlefield and I'm not blown away buy that either,constant Sports games thats all they are good for and milking the cash cow that is EA.

All i wont to know is a street date for the Playstation 4.

Pleased there will be another LBP (my daughter loves it) but concerned that it seems to be free to play.. they really didn't give much info about it though. was hoping for a LPB 3d or something.

Yeah really disappointing move from Sony as I thought they would get the jump on Microsoft,seems now they are releasing virtually at the same time.

Sony have done everything right so far but this is a mistake ,As always Americans get the special treatment and get it 2 weeks before everyone else.

That Dear Sony is not a Worldwide release .

That stream was rubbish. We got to watch it in glorious 480p and from the back of the room for the most part.

That frappalatte baby thingy on the vita looked interesting though and confirmation that most PS4 games will play remotely is the clincher for me.

I game in the corner a lot you see....facing the wall....after I've washed up....and finished the ironing....

But it is in the same month at least and in 30 odd countries to MS 13.

Also we don't know if MS plan to have a phased launch as all they have said is "november"

As the 28th November is Thanksgiving in the USA would expect that nobody wants to launch then as it is a national holiday and the day after is "black friday" with all the pre-xmas sales,

I wouldn't be surprised if MS launch with a 2 week delay as well.

Sad thing is i traded mine and now i might have to get one back again.

Its gone mate about 4 months ago but now with all your ramblings on i might get another one,to be honest i got bored to death with that presentation and after 20 minutes went and done something far more interesting like cooking the mrs tea.

Yeah i saw that weird title vita game that looks well cool,but like everything on the vita its all smoke and mirrors and it has as much as a interesting software lineup as the Nintendo Wii U and we know where thats going.

Still really shocked about that release date as its very close to Crimbo.

It was mentioned at the conference but Infamous second son was also said to miss this years release schedule and was going to ship March 2014.

Now the guy tonight at the conference talked about Killzone and Infamous second Son been release titles when the Playstation 4 ships 29 November.

Shopto has this date set in place and if true its going to be a late weekend.

Saying that if you look at this confirmed set of Launch games Infamous is not listed this year........So i am saying its next.

I got a Vita two weeks ago with 8 gg memory card with 10 game download pack and one month PS+ for £169.

So the price drop has just been made official rather than being special offer.

I just got tempted yet again on my visit to blockbusters in my local high street ,they where offering the vita at £149.99,and that was for either the wifi only version or with the 3G.

So previously the wifi/3G was £230 and today it's £150.

After only dumping my Vita a couple of months back I decided to buy another after mrnelster kept harping on about them and the vita titles on the horizon showed at the Gamescom yesterday,then you have that remote play thing which I have not looked into as of yet.

To be honest that Sony Conference yesterday was extremely boring and the camera work for a live stream was appalling so I don't know what happened there or what the logic was for it.

The playstation 4 live reveal in feb was brilliant without the stupid camera issues.

Regional prices have always been odd and there are several factors to take in.

1 - Local taxation, US taxes are added at the till as there can not only be state to state variations but also some cities also add their own VAT on top which can have a big range depending on where you live,

In the UK and EU taxes have to be included in the pricing structure.

2 - Currency fluctuations. Companies due to where they are based need to build in some wriggle room on the exchange rate to allow for currency market fluctuations and recently we have seen some very big ones. In the last 10 years we have had 2 USD to the pound slump to 1.5USD. I have seen NZ dollars be anywhere between $4.50 and $2.50 to the pound.

Companies don't want to be constantly shifting prices in line with the markets so they will pick a price according to what they hope the average exchange rate over the next year or so.

Sainsbury's is apparently good on their memory cards as well.

32 GB vita memory cards are now £43 and 16 GB is £25.

Yeah, I was thinking about getting the 16GB instead of the 8 GB + game pack. I don't know how much time I would spend with the majority of those games and Uncharted is down to 20 quid.

You kept harping on about it and that game you mentioned at Gamescom looked really cool which probably comes out in 2016. .

I had some xbox 360 credit at Blockbusters just sitting there the last 3 months tempting me to spend it,besides after logging into my account details on the vita i wasn't surprised to see my purchase history and games was quite a lot of Dollar.

So i can download all my stuff again.only problem is i forgot that there is no internal memory on a Vita and had to go and order a 16gig card from Ebay.

Still looks like the Nintendo Wii U with little in the way of a killer games,don't know why it's been supported so poorly ,I struggle to see what's actually worth downloading for free on the playstation plus package or buying anything half decent.

Best game for me on the system is the older psp game Patapon and Patapon 2

Those games are decent but not for me ,I prefer something that is quick and easy to play and like a tactical tower defence type game or a really good puzzle game.

If I'm going to play games like Uncharted I prefer my bigger television and surround sound system to fully appreciate that game.

Best game on the system by far is Super Stardust Delta.

Treated myself yesterday to a 16 gig memory card [complete rip of ] a new Playstation Vita [still pondering why ?]

And a track pad for my IMac that people swear by instead of my Magic Mouse .

Yes I would probably not end up playing it that much, could be good for my daughter to play on car journeys etc.

Just rang blockbusters and they said some semi-northern swag artist keeps buying and returning them, so they're not going to be stocking them anymore.

So I bought a Vita from Tim at Sainsbury's for £175-00, with an 8 GB card and 10 game voucher pack. Using my nectar card it reduced to £155-00.

Thinking I will give these a whirl (LBP, Little Deviants etc) so won't buy a game just yet. Then I get home and the PSN is down for maintenance.
