They got now credibility as they game the last of us a 7.

oh my god a website that doesnt give a 9 just because it looks nice.

nice to see honest reviews still occasionally exist.

you should respect the reviewer for been honest, do you really think bad gameplay, audio should be ignored?

The consensus of the gaming media was that The Last of Us was just about as good as it gets. This lot gave it a 7. Everybody else is wrong Chrysalis and they are on the money? Extremely doubtful.

That was an overly subjective review, the Halo reference right off the bat confirmed that. It felt like a rant, but in his posh voice. I'll wait for the respected review sites, but either way, such over personalised writing is a waste of a read.

It deserves better than a 5 mate so get with the program,The are known for the favouritism towards Microsoft and they game the playstation exclusive game The last of us a 7 when everybody else scored it 9 and above��That has to tell you something ?

Chrysalis all though you claim to be a lover of all platforms you come over as someone with nothing but pure hatred of anything console related.

Even your Playstation 4 fails thread has little to no substance and you have even provided the link to the actual news item you are referring to either.

I can go buy a kettle,a toaster,a television,vacuum cleaner,washing machine that can come home broken or break a few days later.

the problem is the mainstream gaming media generally cannot be trusted on review scores. It has got to that point.

Has this guy been biased towards microsoft, I will read his other reviews and maybe form a judgement.

But I do find it shocking that people think big budget games cannot get low scores unless the reviewer is biased, thats a big problem with the industry today.

I certianly eg. dont trust ign and gamespot reviews.

You cant seem to hand bad news of the products you like, in your case the ps4 and its flagship games.
if someone criticises that product they called stupid, biased or something like a "console hater".

I assume this is to discredit those people so their views get ignored.

I have criticised the pc, 360, ps3, ps4, xbox 1,android. All 6 gaming devices, am I now a "games hater"?

Right now I am playing lost oddysey a console game, there is console games I like a lot. Most games I play on my pc are emulated old games. So the truth is I actually prefer consoles to pc's because I prefer the games.

I have become annoyed with the recent gaming industry because it looks to me its too much fps/sports games plus the obsession with visuals (in particurly resolution) but that is not an anti console thing, pc FPS gamers are addicted to resolution as well.

I'm not. Asides from playing at my native resolution of 1920 x 1200, I have no desire to go higher that that.

Detail yes please and plenty of it. I'd love photo-realism I really would. Sound is important too. And gameplay is a given. If it doesn't play well then people won't play it.

If anything Spook it always seems to get the gaming forum a more active place when people tend to disagree a lot.

Thanks mrnelster, I've had a look through and Killzone single player looks good. Out of interest, as well as the high bitrate KZ video I'm downloading stuff from the PS4 version of BF4.

As that blind old coot Timey knows, I've been playing BF4 a lot lately and I can recommend it with the caveat that I'm playing on PC and there are still performance issues and bugs present. It is a decent boost from BF3 but it should, I hope, look and play so much better on PS4/XBO than it did on previous gen consoles. Gotta love the destructibility.

Shame I totally suck though. I can't seem to see where the enemy is most of the time and get killed a lot whereas they can see my fine. Can't get my monitor's brightness/contrast straight either. Some times it's too damn dark but most of all there's too much foliage and I get whacked in the head a lot. I think it's mostly that I'm just a poor player. Maybe I don't pay enough attention I dunno.

That's precisely why I play GTAV in closed crew session only. With nobody bugging you it's so easy to explore. There are only three members now as I booted all those without mics and made it invite only. I haven't done any missions for weeks. Not interested. The 500k compo bought me a super car and a boat, and left me with a bank balance hovering around 400k (it be a deposit for my personal helicopter you see).

We have spent a week of doing nothing other than trying to break into, then escape the military base with two fighter jets so as to shoot up downtown together. We finally managed it at 23:00hrs last night. We crashed into each other and exploded at 23:00hrs and 15secs. Muppets.

But we'll still be doing exactly the same thing again tonight. We also managed to steal a tank from the airbase with the chinook helicopter, but numbnut here underestimated the weight and ended up dropping him into the ocean at the end of the runway.

I've also started nicking helicopters and dumping them on top of stuff without telling the rest of the crew. They think there is a glitch where one of the Maverick choppers spawns on top of the boat lift crane next to the helipad and they have to blow it up before a second chopper appears. It's actually me swimming across the marina from my apartment at the start of every game and landing it there. I'm hoping one of them posts it up as a glitch on one of the gaming forums.

You are a bit of trickster eh? That's just too cruel but funny all the same. None of my real life mates play games these days. One of 'em's got a 360 but he only plays with his 7 yo son. Sad git.

Hearing about all yours and Swanny's antics online in GTA makes it hard for me to resist. If GTAV had been announced as an early release for the PS4 I'd had jumped in like a maniac but only if there was no PC version.

I've been playing BF4 single player campaign and it's really good. Okay, pretty generic but I'm enjoying it. Might be because I haven't played anything like it for quite a while it seems.

I think you and Timey are gonna like BF4 online when you get it for PS4. It is a very quality game and hopefully they'll have the bugs sorted soon.

That and Killzone online,I been checking out the Americans thoughts and opinions reference Shadowfall and the majority think its awesome and the best Killzone yet.

Multiplayer is suppose to be really addictive

As soon as I've downloaded the patch if it's still recommended and sorted ,the 2 free games will then follow .

I will be picking up BF4 but to be honest I'm not in any rush. I like playing as a team, but to be fair, my mates couldn't spell team let alone comprehend it's connotation. That's why I always end up buying COD. It's still a good laugh in private games though, so I enjoy it all the same. I'm still quietly anticipating War Thunder SPOOK. Land, sea and air vehicle battles could be fun if done well and to date it's press sounds mostly positive.

And it's free!

Resogun looks really good on remote play too. The downstairs bog will never be the same again.

Was really tempted to get a Nintendo 3DS XL just for the new Zelda game released next week,shopto have the limited edition for sale only but that comes with a download code to download it from the e/ shop and it's not the cartridge....And £200 seems a bit rich for my liking to play 1 game..

Had 1 or 2 in the past and have traded them because I haven't used them ,besides that limited edition shopto.net have nine for sake as there all on back order...more than likely because of the new Zelda game which looks class..

Me and hand helds don't really go,screens are way to small for Magoo eyesight ,at least the new 3DS XL have a 90% screen size improvement ...

Could go the Amazon route,but will I use it given the playstation 4 is so close ,I mean the Vita hasn't seen light of day for months.....media molecule have a new vita game out next Friday called Teraway,got great reviews and I pre/ ordered it and then though Narr so I cancelled ...those are the little big planet developers
