Google Chromebook Pixel

Nelly started talking about these laptops so I just had a quick look at some videos about them,nice bit of kit but 2.0 USB ports.....whatever happened to 3.0 on a laptop that costs £1100.

If I was in the market for one I would have to have the higher spec one,so what do the others think of this Laptop from Google.

Is it better than a Apple Mac Pro HD retina display ....I know the resolution is better but is the Laptop?

Get a decent PC/laptop... as in something that runs Windows, not these other poor excuses for operating systems with overpriced hardware.

I have not used a Chromebook but don't they just run the Google browser based apps ? So it's just a basic machine which for around £200 is great for web browsing, watching movies, music etc but for £1000 that is serious money for such a limited OS. You would be better going for a MAC/Windows/Linux machine.

I'm not in the market to buy any of them just browsing what someone talked about.

If I was Trance it would be MacBook Pro without question

Don't waste your breath. Windows is completely over bloated for the average user. It keeps so many IT professionals in work, they're hardly gonna want to see the back of it are they?
