Wii U Winning Console War in my house to ?

My thoughts exactly.

Never ever thought i would spend so much time on a Nintendo Wii U when i have a Playstation 4 and a Xbox One,just goes to show its games that make consoles regardless of how much power and Grunt they have.

And lets face it apart from a couple of decent games on both systems there is nothing ground breaking here and the Wii has a lovely set of games and Mario 3d is just fantastic along with Pikmin 3.

Only the month of March will drag me away from my Wii U at present and I'm seriously thinking of dumping both Ryse and Dead Rising 3 and picking up a couple more Wii U games.

Don't get me wrong i love Killzone shadowfall but it hasn't gripped me like i thought it would and Battlefield 4 i have yet to really get into because the draw for me since owning it is the Wii U�..

I agree which is why I am quite happy to wait a while before getting a PS4.

And it's around March that the so called bigger games get released Trance so I'm conceding that there was no real reason to own either a Playstation 4 or Xbox launch console because there just really isn't the software apart from Battlefield that looks in a different league from the older consoles.

Yeah I was a big BF player and I do have the urge to play that a bit but on the other hand I am enjoying playing a variety of games rather than having all my time taken up by one multiplayer game.

March.. is that when Watchdogs comes out? that's a game that definitely interests me.

Its listed as March but not cast in stone by Ubisoft yet ? also we have a few of the bigger next generation games like Titanfall Xbox one on March 11th and Infamous second Son On Playstation 4 around the 21st March and we have the Thief game in feb that looks interesting but its not the kind of game that has me really dribbling with anticipation

It will probably be later then. IGN have it down as quarter 2 of 2014.

Infamous is not for me...I played some of the second one which I thought was great to begin with, the super powers you have and climbing/jumping around the city was fun but I soon got bored of it... seemed very repetitive to me but maybe I didn't give it enough of a chance.

Thief looks good and I do like stealth games but I rather a present day/futuristic setting.

I've not yet played any of the Thief games. The last one looked good but initially I did not like stealth based games from having tried one of the Splinter Cell demos. It's something you get into though I feel, having played a few games where a stealthy approach was either essential or just much easier. It's a hard temptation to not kill everything sometimes.

Anyone remember Tenchu Stealth Assassins back in the day? I had it on the original Playstation and that game demanded a different playing style and was quite a steep learning curve. I still look back on that title with fondness as its voice acting was so shockingly bad it was awesome! Ah great days.

It's a shame you haven't given BF4 a bit more time er, Timey! But I understand you've been busy enjoying Zelda and everything and that essentially is what games are all about, enjoyment! Funny how that element can be overlooked sometimes in the more serious FPS genre.

BF4 update? Yeah, to think. 650mbs isn't exactly a small update is it? Wasn't long ago you could fit a whole game into that? A whole CD!

650mb is ridiculous when you consider some people still have to put up with sub standard connections!! I guess the only good thing is that the new consoles and the ps3 with a ps+ sub will download the updates even when you're not on the console!!

Yeah but the suckers with 500 gig hard drives [ nelly] mentioning no names Oopppps are going to find they are filling up at a alarming rate.

Mind you he could delete that Ghosts Demo

As soon as funds permit I will go bigger but maybe not hybrid, just bigger HDD. 2TB sounds good

Well I've only got 120GB apparently...

They don't do 2 tb hard drive upgrades mate,the biggest is 1 tb and it had to be 2.5 laptop size and the 2 tb and bigger are 3.5 ....unless you do a Mod like someone on YouTube and know what your doing at present your stuck with a 1 TB hybrid upgrade which is ample.

The upgrade on YouTube is a external hard drive with his Playstation 4 not looking that nice to be honest but has I think a 3 T B upgrade.

Besides if you thought they could be bigger do you think old Timey here would have settled for a 1TB upgrade......No Not on your Nelly

Besides your completly missing the point because you won't even half fill that drive,only a few certain games require a full or part install on a Playstation 3 but all of them are required on a Playstation 4 and Xbox One.....

Else I'm going to hit the self destruct button remotely on that Playstation 3 ,that's with the GTA5 game in the disk drive I may add for total destruction

Not that I have wanted to uninstall anything on the Xbox One at the moment Kila but where exactly is that option because this Ryse tripe is going for sure.

just press the start button over the game/app you want gone and i think the option should be there matey!!

Cheers mate when i next power it on i think i will delete it from the Hard Drive,i don't really enjoy or like driving games but i somehow think i would have been better of buying Forza or even Assassins Creed.
