The Division looks really good. A bit of The Last of Us mixed in with Watchdogs if you like (that's how I envisage the gameplay at least).

The Witcher 3 video looks really cool. I didn't bother with Smyrim ('cos SPOOK played enough of it for everybody else on the planet tongue) but this video reminded me of Red Dead Redemption and it's also very, very pretty to boot.

And DriveClub is the best looking driving game out there in my opinion. The environment detail is what gives it the edge over the other games I've seen touted (Forza, The Crew, Project Cars). And I like the idea of the scoring system. Not sure I like seeing the picture of your opponent on the arsend of their cars though? crazy

And I really like the idea of this. Scrub that.

Anybody else read anything pertinent about it? Liked the sword play teaser toward the very end of the clip. smile

Edit: If I'd actually bothered to follow their link!

I was trying to point out there were games on the list that you've been hailing on about for ages. Like Titanfall, Watch Dogs and Infamous 2nd Son?

You said there were better games in the pipleline and you weren't interested in Driveclub, The Witcher 3 or The Division, which is fair enough. So, what games are you interested in that weren't covered by Nelly's 25?

I can't keep up with so many posts when I'm using a mobile device to type with and since I got an alternative form of playing quality games - aka the PS3 - I no longer need to fire up the PC and sit at my desk so don't use the PC for as long as I used to.

I've always said the PC had a superior input system in the mouse and keyboard. grin So, you're missing me are ya Timey baby? You only have yourself to blame for that. tongue Shouldn't have sent me that PS3! wink Anyhow, who said you can't just skype me or send me a text if you're feeling lonely? tongue

Had a look at the video on Kickstarter. It all looks good and everything but what puts me off more than anything is you're paying in advance for just one act of a three act game. So, what do you actually get gamewise then?

I think I'm with the dev guy who says there's room for RPGs that don't necessarily feature monsters like dragons and magic. He's right in that Assassin's Creed copes without them as does the likes of GTA but they've got other ingredients (guns and fast cars in the latter).

So, it's a gamble - and I'm thinking again - how long is the first act? £20-£25 is a lot for a shortish or otherwise incomplete game on the PC. I'd send them some bucks for sure as I think their project is worthwhile but how much is the question. I think I'd rather just send them a tenner and say keep it, make something good. I'm not even that fussed there potentially wouldn't be a game at the end of it.

Anyway. Maybe Timey or Toady should go for the Pope edition eh? Wouldn't that be grand. Being a pope. Not sure I'd want a sword though. Might get me into trouble... grin
