Come on guys we really need some Gaming Threads here

This is exactly why I went quiet on these forums and for this to truly generate interest and keep people coming on here it needs people to start posting some stuff related to gaming.

There is much going on in the gaming scene,but from what I'm guessing people are more prepared to wait for others to start threads and may be on occasions reply.

There are far to many readers on here and hardly anyone apart from the people I can name on one hand prepared to contribute,we need new blood and we need people interesting in gaming to start making more of a contribution regards posting some stuff.

I try and make things interesting as the best I can but it's another reason why I have become so disallusioned with this place,we have gone the complete weekend and time and time again you can come onto this forum after 3/4 days and not see a single new thread which in all honesty is ridiculous to say the least.

It takes a matter of minutes to discuss anything gaming related ,and even if you think it didn't warrant mentioning or has been mentioned before .....What does it matter?

I spend most my times elsewhere now where there are literally 100s of gaming posts every hour or so and I know we are never going to hit those standards on here it's a shame to see it in its sorry state.

Let's be honest,if you joined this forum for gaming news how long would this particular forum hold your interest when nothing much is been said day after day.

It needs activity ,it needs the readers to start commenting and writing stuff instead of relying on the half a dozen hardcore that in all honesty keep this forum alive and if they stopped posting I would be of in a shot to get a gaming fix elsewhere.

So can we please have some more activity,there has never been a more active time to talk about games given what's been released .

Seems the only time there is a high activity post count on here is when there is a argument between a few members or a heated discussion .

Where has Crysalis gone....has he got fed up and disappeared ,I know he came out with a few controversial comments but at least it was a topic for discussion right or wrong .

Can you recommend a good gaming site?? I used to be a member at few others but now only use this site.
This forums layout is very basic, you can't even post a picture.

It is surprising there are not more people posting on here when you see all the activity on other parts of the forum, many of them must also be gamers.

I bought myself Ryse at the weekend in the sale. I wanted to buy it for a couple of reasons really, the first was that I have wanted to try it since release but didn't buy it then because of the other games I had invested in and knew would take me a while to complete.

The second was that as this seems to be a trial by Microsoft to see if they will sell more digital games at a cheaper price I thought I would purchase it along with some friends and you never know that may pay off for me in the future if they lower the pricing from the ridiculous £50 for digital.

Thoughts on the game? It looks very nice but the game play is repetitive. I can only play it for about an hour and a half at a time without getting a bit bored. There is hardly any variation in it really, although the main campaign is great fun. Particularly the part where you are moving as a unit with your shields up blocking arrows etc. It's pretty good fun on the online co-op though, me and my mate had a good laugh over the weekend.

One thing I dislike in it though is the levelling system, it's terrible! You have to buy booster packs to get new equipment and even then it is random what you will get. They try and push you to spend real money on booster packs which doesn't work. It's like Fifa Ultimate Team but no where near as good.

Told you not to waste your money,you should visit the forum more often and read all the posts,gams boring and tedious and apart from some half decent looks is basically a stinker for a next generation title....all hype no substance .

Just too funny

I had read loads of reviews about it and all were pretty average and I had seen what people on here were saying but I still wanted to make my own mind up. Sometimes that has just got to be done! As I say though it's not that bad, the graphics are the saving grace and the story aint too bad! I would pay £25 - £30 for it, but not £45 - £50.

Yeah i have been extremely disappointed in most stuff on both the next generation consoles at the moment,just seen the first review of Plants V Zombies and its not exactly brilliant 7/10

I don't really play serious games any more, just play a bit of WoW until I get bored and then don't really play. Don't like console controllers and can't really be bothered with FPS now - I think I am getting too old... So, that is why I don't post here.

thats fine but the forum deserves more activity and its a shame to see such a quiet place.

I'm surprised you expected more. The next gen machines just provide graphics upgrades. Game play isn't going to be effected

Like Nelly said Killzone has next generation looks but its not the mind blowing next generation title i expected and i have spent little to no time online with this game which amazes even me.

The last killzone on the playstation 3 i played forever and this is way better but for some strange reason don't hold the same interest.

They just haven't arrived yet or have been delayed. Destiny and The Division melding online co-op with multiplayer is the new way to game socially. I can't wait for that, Destiny especially. I think that's pretty next gen gameplay. Even Watchogs let's friends sneak into your game and ruin your afternoon.

Nelly you can not Educate Retro Gamers with Old consoles

There dragging there feet with the release date of Watchdogs especially as it was supposed to be a Launch title.
