So we all know that buying via these consoles online stores isn't the cheapest way but there seems to be a flaw/bonus where you can actually purchase from the us versions of said stores and save quite a bit of cash!!
Right or wrong I'll be giving this a go tomorrow and buying Titanfall which should work out to be roughly £35
Interesting reading for both Xbox One and Ps4 owners.

I can not be bothered in putting American Address and Zip codes in if I'm honest,i done it before and never used it and don't really go for buying digitally downloaded full retail games.

Well the good thing for me is i effectively get 2 for the price of one!! So even better value.

Good idea. No point paying more when it's so easy to set up. I used a garage address when I set mine up.

Not to mention the added bonus of getting games a few days early too!
|
|

Thats if its not region protected and to much hassle .
Great that you get it twice i agree, but once you paid for it there is no trading it for something else so you have to be convinced the game is going to be good and in Titanfall case i don't think you will have any problems there having us both played the beta.

That's cool but what if in the future Sony/Microsoft block the US games you have already bought? That would be my worry.
|
|
|
|
Then hopefully we'll get our moneys worth before they do it lol!!!
The fact that it will set me back just £35 and myself and my son will both get to play it on 2 consoles for that price effectively means it's only cost us £17.50 each, a gamble worth taking really i think!!!

I still don't understand how you both get to play just 1 download? Please explain further

My son's console is set as my home console and all my digital purchase show up available for him to install!!
I've purchased and started downloading Titanfall this morning and is already available for him to download without even changing the region to US on his console.
Taken almost three and a half hours to get to 32% installed, must be the slowest download/install time ever (yes i already know this isn't one of the Xbox One's strong points)!!

Which again begs the question Why ? Given the extreme speed of the previous 360 stuff against the truly awful playstation 3 download and install procedures in the past.
How can Microsoft get so much wrong and very little right,it seems as if they are welcoming total meltdown of there gaming division.
I have to admit that i am slightly concerned about this Microsoft Gaming division, there structure and plans for the future given that shareholders want to drop Microsoft gaming division and sell it off.
Without this Titanfall were would they actually be,did EA and Respawn make a mighty mistake in given exclusivity to the Xbox One and how much more revenue would this have made if not been exclusive, why did Sony let this happen, and how many Millions and Millions did Microsoft pay for this to happen, because I'm betting quite a few Million given the fact this would have made a stack if it had been on a Playstation 4 and by all accounts it would have looked better.
Oh and while I'm on the subject I'm not wanting Microsoft to fail i want them to become extremely strong and competitive and really make Sony work hard at keeping there initial lead in the console war.
I want Microsoft to address there problems and start giving gamers something more to shout about besides Titanfall that really has me hyped and excited.

Look on the bright side,by the time my retail copy drops on Thursday hopefully it will have finished downloading .
Lets hope it all works ok mate when its ready to play and there are not typical EA server issues and problems ?
Look forward to your views and opinions later on today ,or when its finished downloading next week
