Xbox One getting more tempted

[link to this post]

£379.99 on Amazon and a game of choice for £20

I will give in eventually, but pricing is heading in the right direction.

Trouble is am into World of Tanks currently and that is not on xbox one.

Maybe the PS3 can be packed off away from the TV stand I guess.

I don't know why they can not bring these games to next generation consoles that need games quickly after a major drought.

Its like the new game Demon Souls 2 which is a extremely challenging and difficult game but is only on the older hardware.

Thank god for Titanfall tomorrow and Infamous Second Son next week on the P4.wink

I have hardly bothered with anything so called next generation.to be honest i think we have yet to see it ?

Buy the time the next generation arrives in about 5/7 years i will be almost 30 tongue and i don't think i will bother rushing into buying them unless there are some absolute killer titles which on both systems at present there isn't mad

the proper way to have handled it would be BC.

I am guessing for the cost of supplying the kinect eg. the xbox one could have had at least one generation of BC added.

If a new console is BC then it launches with a massive gaming library as all the previous gen games work on it.

I am stil of the opinion on next gen platform, startegy, rpg etc. are all going to die. Next gen will end up been exclusively FPS and sports games. With occasional other types but will be dominated by multiplayer.

Platforms etc. are all going to be mobile/portable, steam and previous gen mainly because of existing large userbases and cheaper development.

Until Microsoft buy exclusivity for GTA6 ,then let's see if you take the same stance wink.

Not that it would happen as Rockstar would be stupid to have that game on just 1 platform, especially the Xbox One and it's struggling sales compared to there major competitor Sony.

Let's hope that some revelation happens and Microsoft come back strong,at the moment I just see mistake after mistake.

Be interesting what else we see after Titanfall this year, and how the multi platform games compare in the future to Sony that seem to look better in every single way.

I can not even recall a game I desire on the Xbox One over the Playstation 4 for the rest of the year if I'm honest.

Anybody know the next big exclusive Xbox One game to be released in 2014.... And don't say Cod tongue

I have a Xbox One and i'm still very much still playing WoT on my 360 and looking at the amount of people online in world of tanks , i'm very much not alone .

I go so far as to say there are more people tanking it than playing any AAA titles on either of microsoft's consoles .

Its strange as only a few on my friends list actually play it regularly with most not progressing past tier2 , so never getting to the real strategic battles where you have to play smart and shot smart or its going to cost you .

Battlefield has been fixed for a while mate, they brought out a massive patch and it seems great since then. Xbox have also upgraded the dashboard a couple of times since, some argue it should have been better from day one and I agree it was missing some features but at least they have added them now. It's only a few months on and I think they thought people would like a more "Minimalist" approach to the dash but that's not the case we want more features!!

Yep I'd stick with my PS3

For me gaming is something I do when there's nothing more interesting to do, which is why I don't play much in the summer

Yeah Microsoft thinks taking features and functionality away is actually a upgrade ( windows 8 anyone ? ) , i'm still not happy with how the dashboard on the one works , having to go to dashboard to open a app really sucks and anous .

It baffles me how Microsoft have thrown away their lead and now the PS4 has the better functioning dashboard and why would Microsoft think the kinect is the most important aspect of the Xbone when we all know its should've been Xbox live .

Idiots !

Yeah it begs the question which I have asked on here and talked about time and time and time again.

You have the superior online network [ all be it was paid for unlike P3 at the time] and you have the best interface of both the systems!the best looking multi platform games that look and play better !and games that generally download and install at the drop of a hat and literally takes minutes.

Now it's completely the other way around and Sony take all of the above with a breeze, they don't have as much content as the Xbox One stuff on there interface but it functions way better that's for sure.

Bert ? Trade it and get a Playstation 4 wink

I cant fathom out the sense in getting rid of Family Gold benefits on the 360. I know they started it last August, ours expired last Sunday and I'm aware the Xbone supports the feature. so I dusted off the Wii for Netflix, the kids have several pass codes for a few months and thats it with Microsoft, absolutely Ps4 gaming all the way for me.

Greedy Idiots. They are though good definition of stupid, repeating the same mistakes.

[re: time2die] [link to this post]

I'm closing in on my playstation , its just that Titanfall came out this week and that's hopefully going to keep me occupied for the rest of this month , maybe longer .

But the same plan of getting a PS4 during the summer months still remains , Im not a fanboy of either console , i use what's best for me , last time round it was the 360 and its become patently obvious , this time round its the PS4 .

I have also been slowly buying components for my PC build as they come on offer , only this weekend buying some very cheap low latency memory , and have a christmas finish time planned for that project .

I honestly believe " all good things come to those who wait " and i'm a bit upset with myself for buying the Xbox One so soon after release but this was done because i honestly believed the Xbox 360 was so much better in the areas that mattered to me that microsoft could not bulls the Xbone up .

I admit i was wrong .
