Come now - ditch those grey gaming machines of yours, save yourself time and money and get a real computer : A PC fit for game playing. A PC fit for doing all the many other things that a console can't do, don't do or forbidden to do.

Become one with the game- become one with a PC. Come back from the brink of insanity, and revel in gaming happiness, lest you get left behind...

I have seen the light , Steam is guiding me on a path of gaming utopia , where i get to keep my controler , my recliner , my big screen telly and i dont even need to have my gaming machine in the same room as my big screen telly , being able to run high end games on a HTPC .

Brothers we need to spread the word of Steam , uniting all gamers under the true x86 architecture machine , the PC will rise above all other x86 pretenders and cast down those inferior machines into the abyss .

Can i get a Amen

Alas, dear Brother, redemption and heaven will have to wait until the good year of two thousand and fifteen, whereupon the goodness of PC game, in the guise of delectable Linux operating systems will be mercifally released upon this hallowed earth.

Either that or its going to be utter rubbish...

The Space Marine shoot 'em up was really boring I thought. I had it on 360 and got rid of it quite quickly. Didn't think it had much depth to it.... Poor mans Gear of War laugh

The only real downside to it was, until near the end you were just fighting Orks - more enemy variety would have been nice...

.

Well said Jaxx....but you have to consider that to Toady this looks brilliant because he doesn't know what a really good console game looks like as they don't appear on PC very often....Don't know why but apart from the big titles like Watchdogs and the rest it appears to be totally [censored] on a PC.

Now I haven't encountered a single problem with this game on the Playstation 4 .

Toady can not comment as it's not in his bargain bin at the moment and he still talking about games from years ago.

I didn't say the graphics were briliiant - although they are nice. However, you are basing your decision upon inferior console graphics. If you only had a PC, then you'll see how much you're missing in the display department...

Do you reckon Valve will get all games running natively on Linux ? That would be interesting as I use Ubuntu on my main desktop computer and I don't really want anything to do with Microsoft any more.

Yeah defo much better with a ad blocker extension installed.. I went a while without one with the idea of supporting the web sites who earn from the adverts but it's so annoying that basically everything I browse in online shops pops up in the adverts that I installed it again.

It would be nice, but I dont see it happening unless SteamOS is really popular, as there just isn't enough money in it at the moment.

Yeah it seems unlikely to me also but I don't see how Valve can make a success of SteamBox or SteamOS if it doesn't support games natively, it would just be a box to stream games to from a Windows PC which is quite a niche market.

Indeed - I'm not sure their current offerings are native programs (haven't tried downloading them), and thus could be using WINE, with all the problems that go with it.

Valve are certainly taking their time in getting SteamOS publiclly available too.
