The E3 stuff wont go away.
Its been discovered that the E3 graphics are still in the PC version, but were disabled, for a unknown reason.

Timey don't watch the above links
You won't be happy that your consoles are struggling to keep up already
The way technology is advancing next gen consoles are going to be outdated very quickly. The PS4 is certainly not going to be a good platform in 7 years time
Some nice looking screen shots here http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=390114

in my opinion the most likely reason is sony paid ubisoft for parity.

In 7 years time Swanny i will be in a old peoples home no doubt
If there outdated then Sony will release another SimplesEspecially as i predict Nintendo new console will outshine both the playstation 4 and Xbox one when they release it eventually.
Nintendo will be first to the market for sure after there not so great success with there Wii U
Once again Watchdogs looks and plays awesome but at the moment since the World cup its put on hold, only the world cup could stop me playing such a tremendous game.

in my opinion the most likely reason is sony paid ubisoft for parity. 27 million Steam users and Ubisoft bins them off for a bung from Sony? You make me laugh sometimes you really do. Watchdogs has had many issues already on the PC. They obviously struggled to optimise it and were likely under pressure to get the game out after an already lengthy delay.
What it actually proves, is that other than extremely high spec. machines, it is very difficult to optimise across such a wide demographic as PC's. So you might summize that under pressure to realease by Sony, they didn't.
No need for conspiracy theories at all.

Anyway I'm completely happy with how it looks and plays on my Playstation 4 .....I Thank you

all sorts of behind the scenes deals goes on in the gaming world, which is why we have things like platform exclusives.
I dont live in your fantasy world where no deals are done and the ps4 is powerful enough to run state of the art levels of graphics.
there is notably now quite a few games shown at E3 where they demo'd on pc's and then the graphics are cut back on launch. Watchdog was one of them, but this time someone figured out how to turn it all back on.
Do you really believe a large company such as ubisoft couldnt get it to work yet a single guy with some paypal donations did?
Now I dont have issues with games not having top of the line visuals, I am not someone addicted to graphics, I always put gameplay first, however what I dont like is bait and switch as some people call it, advertise one thing at E3 and sell another. This is getting more common lately and it needs to stop. I also dont like the backroom deals that go on as I consider them anti consumer, but those will go on probably forever as long as we have consoles on the market.

I think that has always been the case, the way technology advances as soon as something is released a few months later or less there is something better. Games will get better and better though as developers learn how to get the most out of the platforms, so doubt we have seen anything close to what these machines are capable of. Have said a few times before just look how fantastic TLOU and GTA 5 are on a 7 year old machine.
I personally am still amazed by some of the graphics on PS3.

On the subject of TLOU and the new Playstation 4 version arrives in July, apparently it doesn't look much of a step up from the Playstation 3 version according to some that have compared the game.
Goes to show they really rung the neck out of the Playstation 3 and got every last drop of power.
Anyway it was a brilliant game and it's a game I'm getting even though I finished it twice.

Yep it is a great game and one of my favourites, I hope they will do a sequel. I have not started another game since finishing Tomb Raider so might get around to that second play of it, it certainly deserves it.

Did you ever try the online side,it looked quite interesting to be honest but I put little time or effort into playing it for more than an hour.

I am put off the ps3 version tho as it has reduced immersion, the graphics may not be a whole lot different (although is better lightning and other effects on the ps4), they removed npc's and cars from the ps3 version due to hardware limitations so the world will feel more empty.
I predict I will get a ps4 when the final fantasy 15 is launched as that will be a next gen exclusive, it wont be on the ps3. I will probably also buy watchdogs ps4 version at that time.

I'm not living in a fantasy world, you are. You are absolutely correct, after these shows, the graphics get cut back on PC from SuperRaidCrossfire LSD mutha [censored] and optimised to a far more realistic spec.
The reason the modder can do it and Ubisoft hasn't, is because they didn't want to throw any more money at it, not because a manufacturer bought them off. Your own links admitted there are still multiple issues with the game for most users after activating the "hidden code".
I know many PC games look nicer than the consoles. But just as many don't, but it's because of devlopment cost, not under the table deals.

No didn't touch the online, kinda reluctant to now as the people still playing will probably be really good.
Not started a game yet even though have had time, don't know why I don't get the enthusiasm to start a new game but once I do I usually enjoy it.

Not seen any and besides it doesn't spoil what is a fantastic game in my opinion and I'm not understanding why thee is so much hate and dislike about this game when i think its exceptional.
Instead of looking for negatives Chrysalis buy the game and then make a informed decision as open world games are bound to have bugs and that includes your JRPG games
|
|
|
lol I am not looking for negatives, I just thought it be fun to post as was a funny video.
people are not hating the game they just are annoyed. I guess you tend to ignore bugs and only look at positives, not everyone is like that.
I am neutral on it, I dont even own the game, I just found that link when I was looking into the E3 stuff more and the insane vram requirements.

If you bought it and it was a game you were looking forward to then I'm sure like me you wouldn't be disappointed .
There are bound to be bugs and flaws in all games and no game will ever be perfect but for me Watchdogs met and surpassed by expectations and I dint have a single complaint about it....bugs and all
