Steam summer sale

[link to this post]

for those that hadn't noticed , has started .

And for those that don't care or are in denial that there is a Steam summer sale , you're missing out . Already picked up some bargains in the flash sales .

I'm in the Don't Care camp - they have nothing much of interest.

However, I was interested to see how stingy or not Valve were, so here are the statistics for the main page

90% - 1
80% - 3
75% - 10
66% - 2
60% - 1
50% - 3
40% - 1
33% - 1
25% - 1
20% - 1
15% - 1

So the chances are, if you like the stuff being sold, you could get a bargain. I'm sure with 90% off people will be absolutely flocking to buy Orion:Dino Horde

steam is starting to annoy me, they super paranoid.

yet again I launch steam after reading your post and it wants me to enter my password.

Every month I have to verify my email account to use it (why?) and now I have to reenter my password to launch the app. Its getting ridiculous, imagine the fuss on console's if people had to rreenter their passwords just to turn them on every month. Steam need to stop this rubbish.

its always worth a regular check , i got FarCry 3 and Xcom enemy unknown , already had Dinio Horde from a previous sale '

I dont know why but i have to agree most of what's been offered up in this sale has already been on sale in the run up but it runs till the 30th and i hope a few more of my wishlist turn up in the sale .

Was almost going to buy " Rage " and thinking about " State of Decay " as this morning selection of games is very " meh " i will go tight and not buy anything .

Steam users have been the victims of fishing sites and scammers in the past , so it might be annoying but i think a necessary annoyance .

Origin is the same also if you don't login on a regular basis , as i just found out whilst trying to grab myself a free copy of " peggle ".

if its any more secure is opinion and unproven.

if the email thing was once a year instead of every month I wouldnt be in such a rage, that would be more reasonable.

seems a bit of a play school policy where everyone is treated as having a insecure rig that needs pampering.

What's keeping you busy, with respect to the Nurburgring? Have been invited there, later this year, to see what my new car is like to drive around it.

And, given how many games I still need to play, I wish there were many more hours in the day! frown

Forza 5 getting a clean lap is very difficult, as all too often you slide off and clip a fence on one corner or another, or as my tendency of late is to get one wheel on grass at 130mph+ and have some frantic direction correction to do.

the problem is how short the offers last, I bet now if I checked your list, those all would be expired and back to full price.

not everyone has time to check every 6 hours for new offers.

ok seems they all still no offer, purchased a few turn based rpgs you had in that list.

Ahh, thought you meant the actual Nurburgring! And what's with the suggested-line on the track? Nice correction, though, when you hit the grass! wink

Yep, they update at 6pm (first update of the day, all new offers), then the flash-sales update again at 2am and 10am. All times in BST.

Which games did you pick up, by the way, and what do/did you think?
