Fantastic visuals Swanny, but still the ridiculous 200ft hay diving.

You just don't get it man.... you know.... you need to reach like a higher state of gaming consciousness to be able to fully appreciate the beauty that is the Creed.

No you can keep it,played them all before and they offer me no satisfaction and gaming pleasure.
Far Cry 4 and Dragon Age will be the 2 games keeping me up late at night, might get Little Big Planet 3 and eventually GTA5 on playstation 4 so it should be a great Christmas for gaming.

Yea AC Unity & Farcry 4 for me, although it may get a little tedious having 2 x sandbox games to play I am going to give it a go
I actually got bored of Farcry 3, even though it was beautiful and there was lots to do I think I just got it at a time when there was a lot of other games out so I didn't give it my full attention. I plan on giving Farcry 4 a lot more time, although I think the tropical island is a nicer environment than the mountains. Should be good though!

Far cry 4 will absolutely trounce Far Cry 3 mark my words,Far Cry 3 was brilliant and that good i went through the game twice thats how much i liked it.
The only thing that wasn't that exciting was the 4 player limited co/op matches and the multiplayer mode full stop.
I think this time the co/op with 2 players will be a thrilling ride and very very addictive with many different ways to approach a mission.
Plus you have the Arena mode which is Far Cry version of horde mode and you have for me anyway the complete package.
I haven't been so excited about a game in ages and i really do not care that they have kept most of the stuff in from Far Cry 3 and added some other nice stuff like Elephants ,Gyrocopters ,wing suits ..Whats not to loveIts a FPS fanatics Dream
And I'm also looking forward to the Dragon Age Chronicles a few days later, that i will keep the wrapper on until Christmas as i can see me playing far cry 4 for weeks.
Just a shame most of us next generation owners on here all have different consoles as it would be nice to get 4 of us together in One Game.

I will stick with The Last Of Us online Thanks......way more fun
AC Unity & Farcry 4 for me too. You're not the only one that got bored of Farcry 3. A few people here did. It's a shame as it was good but then just seemed to become a bit of a chore
You got no staying power that's your problem, the minute you come across something difficult it's Game Over For the Game in Question....
Far cry 3 was brilliant and the game of the year at the time,i really don't know what you people expect because it certainly didn't feel like a chore to me as I went through it a second time and enjoyed it just as much.
And Swanny .....am I halycinating.....Did you just say you was buying 2 games in the space of 6 days..
I think I had one post left to do but just couldn't be arsed with it
Nope you're not halycinating or hallucinating I am buying two games on release
I think I had one post left to do but just couldn't be arsed with it
I got bored a long time before that. I gave up about ten percent of the way into the second island. But I was particularly thorough on the first island. Skinned everything that moved.....probably twice.
My problem was I spent so much time dossing about (trying to see how many things I could jump a jeep off of for example) that the first island probably took me 30 hours. Other pastimes included:
Trying to run tiger over with jeep.
Trying to outrun said tiger in jeep
Trying to run bear over with jeep.
Trying to run shark over with jeep.
Etc. etc.
Good times!
If you got bored then why the hell are you even bothering with Far Cry 4
Game is a lot of things..Boring isn't one of them.
Blimey Timey, re read my post! I got bored with the second island and replayed the first. It's one of the best games I've played which is why I'm so hyped for FC4.
I just didn't enjoy the second island anything like as much as the first, as the reviews promised. I think that's where most people got bored. The freedom of the island was where the fun was at, not the story part. And I reckon the same will be true this time around, especially with arena mode.

Tell me about it.
Probably on tonight. Still being tempted with COD but trying to refrain for FC4...
You warmed up to it any more? Is it worth it for private and horde modes? Can we play private matches with added bots?
The Exo Survival is Brilliant and me and Frag have been playing it a lot,it worth buying it just for this mode alone.
You can team up with up to 4 players in Exo and yes you can play private matches with Bots, well i did last night on my own
Far Cry 4 is still 2 weeks away.Go on you now it makes sense..You will love the survival mode and I'm telling you its really tough and aggressive .
Myself and frag lasted just 10 rounds.

on the 1080p/60fps debate a reason for companies like ubisoft rolling out 30fps games may be coming to light.
The min specs required for the PC port's of next gen games suggests dev's have become lazy on next gen games, they seem to be having the attitude they dont need to optimise because the hardware is more powerful. This game has an insanely high GPU requirement on the PC which is making me think if they optimised it would be 60fps on the consoles.

Different people like different things mate, last year Farcry 3 and The Last of Us were two games I got bored with but a lot of people loved. Yet I loved AC Black Flag and you didn't, some things just push peoples buttons and others dont
I loved the look of black flag, just the control scheme that puts me off AC. I know you can get use to different controls but I'm a bit lazy like that. If I had day long sessions to play game I would be more likely to give them a proper go, but time is something you never have enough of when you work for yourself.
Maybe when I grow up.
Didn't think you had. Playstation....so how did you get bored with The Last of us....
But I get your point ,FPS are where it's at for me and there isn't much I don't like about them, especially when they are games like Far Cry and Crysis. only FPS I haven't really bothered with is Battlefield 3 or is it 4 I can not remember, and in some respects I feel like I have missed out because the more videos I watch of this game the better it looks and plays.
Yep I thought Farcry 3 was great but did become a chore, the thing is the AC games are obviously very similar along with Mordor which I can't remember the last time I played!!
The Battlefield series has always been a great series and even though I do play BF4 I just can't ever be bothered to play it alone as it's probably one of the best team based game going, get yourself in a party with a few others and you'll have an absolute blast of a time!!!

Yea sandbox games in general can become a chore, I try and do an even split of playing some story missions then playing some side missions etc. But playing a few of them in succession can get boring, which I think was half of my problem last year as I seemed to play a lot of sandbox games close to each other.
Timey, I did have a PS3 at my old house and played Unchartered (great game!) and Last of Us on it.
Yeah the new Uncharted is going to blow people's minds next year......
I'm Billy no mates..... and the few I do have are on different consoles and don't even own Battlefield 4 .
