PS4 Headset

Any recommendations??
Quite like the idea of 7.1 surround sound

My mate has the Sony Pulse Elite and reckons they are great

Found this review for the Sony golds

Bought for my boyfriend. The house is no longer filled with gunshots and police sirens. No more military comands followed by loud bangs. No longer do I wake up at 2am from the sound of a hooker's final scream or a tractor trailer truck exploding. There are no more voices of people who are simultaneously in my living room and South Carolina.

A+ product. Highly recommended!

Sony Golds get good reviews and are cheaper

Sony Gold headset around £89 are the ones to get Swanny,and yes Timey has one of these and they are really good and impressive for the money.

I've got the elites which are really good. I think the 7.1 thing is totally overrated on headphones mind. Stereo is stereo.

Funny they calling them Gold headsets when they are actually Blue....Download the app for the headset from the store,plug it in and upload a custom sound to it........

Game are a joke but unfortunatly because of the demise of other independent game shops and the fact that Game literally killed Gamestation with there pure Greed there is very limited choice of what shop to use when trading unwanted games,of course there is eBay and other places that offer a way out with a sale,but I'm lazy and Game is the quickest and easiest way to pass of unwanted games and get the replacement there and then.....No waiting for online auction to finish,no messing about with post and no disputes that can happen online using eBay from the scammers......

I had a quick look in Game and Pinkplanet then sent my old man to Argos in the next town to pick it up for me

I had to laugh when I first got it after not really reading everything about it....I thought to myself where the feck is the Microphone and honestly I forgot it was built into the left side of the headset...

Ask Nelly what happened the first time we connected for a game and a chat .....He will tell you what happened and why he couldn't hear me but I could hear him

Don't make the same mistake because it's easy to do if you don't read the instructions .....

Something about put the volume on max and the chat on 50%??

That's one of the issues chat/ sound and then you have the volume button,get that wrong and it can be a pain.....then when it's on your head and you got all these rubber type switches and buttons it's easy to forget that you may be changing the chat/sound setting and not the volume up/ down control that you think you are adjusting.....

No seriously the first time I put it on I had it on the wrong way around,think it was Nelly that actually said have you actually put it on your head ... then he said have you got it on the right way around which I hadnt

So make sure all your controls are on the left side of your head.....

I wish I could say we've all done it, but writing left and right on my ear lobes with an indelible marker immediately after purchase, seems to have paid dividends....

The chat volume seems to be upside down. I was chatting to my mate and then he went quiet. Tried everything before finding out the volume was the wrong way round. Those beeps are pretty annoying too


While I'm having a ps4 moan. Why can't I put my own wallpaper on instead of the boring blue theme?? I don't want themes I want a picture. To be honest there's not much I like about the PS4
I tried plugging in my external drives but it wouldn't do anything with them. One of them made it tell me it wasn't supported.

Where did you purchase your ear lobes?? I could do with an upgrade

With the new firmware update you can add your own wallpaper apparently or download some custom free ones from the store.

I don't know what the hell you were doing this evening as all i saw while trying to play a game is Swanny has created a party message about 20 times.

Mate the playstation 4 is a lovely bit of kit stop moaning about it,extremely powerful machine,just that you are not listening and you are not buying the games that you should for the system like The Last of us.

Me and Frag met 2 cool lads this evening and teamed up so we had a team 4x4 ,Got our butts kicked a lot but it was pure fun.

I don't know how you can dish the dirt on the playstation 4 compared to the playstation 3��..To me there is no comparison .

Just hope your happy with your Assassins Creed Unity Friday��God help us if you don't like that.

I would tell you to get Far Cry 4 but i have my doubts that you will like that either.

May be you should have bought a Xbox One that will give you something to moan about,saying that the online service is flawless and far superior in every way to Sony Offering.

I told you i had all sorts of stupid problems with the headset when i first got it,lost the volume and my chat by adjusting the wrong buttons on quite a few occasions.

For the money the headset is fantastic,it just takes time figuring out whats what and not pressing the wrong buttons when its on your head,even now sometimes i take it of my head ,put the lights on to see if I'm making the right adjustment as sometimes i forget which is Chat/Sound and which is volume.

Sorry I couldn't take your invites as I was in the middle of an epic Exo Survival game. Got to level 25.

Not sure I would like Dragon Age Inquisition

Apart from not being able to use an external hard drive and change the wallpaper the share play option is rubbish. I had a go last night with my mate. First we tried Destiny, it was really laggy and then kicked me out. Next we tried BF4, that was laggy and looked horrible. We are both on cable connections so no excuses there.
They even released DC before it was finished and even charged you for it when it was supposed to be free. I'd go for a xbone but I'm not a fan of microsoft and all the spyware they tried to make you have.


I don't understand why they won't allow you to at least change the wallpaper. There are a few free themes but they are even worst than the plain coloured backgrounds. Oh yea and why isn't there a bluetooth headset?? I can't even I use my PS3 remote control. Grr greedy [censored]. Well [censored] you sony I'm not going to buy another one for the ps4. And what's going on with the messages?? They take forever to send, starts off well but hits 97% and then takes the [censored]

It's not a cheap console and you'd think you'd have a few basic options to play around with. I'm glad I kept my PS3. It seems a much better all rounder

I wonder if nintendo will get their act together and realise a decent games console.?
I'm at the stage now of regretting buying a ps4 I think I should have put the money I spent on it towards a decent gaming rig.

Yeah i don't understand either why the message system just hangs and you have to watch a spinning wheel for about a minute and when it does send it we get the message sent 7 minutes ago���.There is no excuse for suva poor communications system and its not exactly rocket science and should be a straight forward simple fix they should have sorted a year ago.

The gold headset is bluetooth so what you going on about,what you meant to say is why don't previous consoles headset work with both the xbox one and playstation 4���.Now lets take a wild guess���.Could it be with making a little bit more money��..Im thinking it is.

I bought a Turtle beach PX5 only about 20 months ago swanny for my playstation 3 and it cost nearly £200 and you guessed it that does not work with the new consoles..

Todays firmware update apparently was suppose to address the terrible message system and slow times according to one gaming website,but thats utter garbage and if you read the article on N4G.COM and then read all the comments afterwards you can see it done absolutely Nothing .

You can sell your Playstation 4 on eBay ,you may lose a few quid but if your that unhappy i would dump it and stick with your playstation 3.

Basically I've ended up with a games console with an operating system that is a joke and games developers are releasing games that are far from ready

Its a easy mistake to make as the buttons are very well hidden and its not clear that you have to wear the headset on top of your head .

Nowhere in the instructions did it say place Headset on top of your head with the cups of the headset over your ears��.Terrible set up ?

There the easiest headset in the world to set up,the only problem is remembering which button does what when you are fiddling around with them on top of your head.

On many occasions I take them of and put the ceiling lights on to check what does what having forgotten on countless occasions ,it doesn't matter when I don't here Nelly because my Mom says that you shouldn't here and use Foul Launguage and in Nelly case he's King Cockeral ..
