[link to this post]

Fooled you all........You will have to wait until Monday afternoon or evening ...smile

Swanny I would send you a token before you commit to the sale, but with the network down all Monday evening I'm afraid I won't be able to......

Can send Jorkila one though Monday afternoon......wink.. That's if the game drops which I expect it will given it was posted Friday evening....

So i saw this women part time post worker about 90 mins ago and I'm convinced she walked right past our street obviously doing the round in another way so I'm guessing and i haven't seen her since and i have severe doubts my most anticipated game of the year will not be arriving today as expected.

Another thought is she has posted it to the wrong address on which she has done on several occasions and I'm always getting other roads Mail with the only thing right on the letter is the number.

What makes it worse is i will be looking at this on the shelf in the game shop tomorrow knowing full well i can not buy it but have to wait to see if it turns up.

Can not believe my luck crazy

Wouldn't surprise me Swanny as this lady part time post person has made some right blunders in the past ,then there might be a agreement in place with the P/O and time scales ,they may have the option to make sure it's not delivered before the date in question.....I'm not sure but it's possible given this was posted last Friday evening......Drat .......Nevermind I'm not that annoyed now the days gone, but I will be tomorrow if it don't turn up....crazy

My postman can't read, he keeps delivering letters to me for a house around the corner. The only similarity of our addresses is the number. [censored] knows why he doesn't notice the rest of the address is wrong. Useless [censored] smile

There is always some crazy fool willing to pay a premium for things early, EBAY you can get crazy amounts

Here for instance is COD AW Atlas Edition which was £60

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Call-of-Duty-Advanced-Warf...

Some people have more money than sense, I've seen game streams where people have donated £1000's to the person streaming (not charity either) it's madness.

Re: Timeys Far Cry 4 Initial Thoughts..2 hours

[re: time2die] [link to this post]

Nothing really to add really and i agree totally with Nelly, the game looks stunning and plays as sweet as i expected it to play and its very much like Far Cry 3 but even better looking.

If you want to nit Pick then 60fps would have been heaven but its a lot to ask with a game of this type and the huge scale of the environment on offer.

Ive played it for 2 hours, liberated or climbed just a single bell tower and achieved virtually nothing, opened up a small section of the map of which you do once you have liberated or conquered outposts.

The map looks huge and how people complete this game in about 10 hours is anyones guess,i think minimum for myself will be 30 hours.

One thing i don't see in the menu is the 2 player co/op so I'm presuming its hidden away somewhere ,i see the other multiplayer but no 2 player.

I am pleased..Its a FPS Dream wink.

I did say i was going to refrain from playing it until this evening but sadly that promise got broken tongue

Some more thoughts on Far Cry 4

[re: time2die] [link to this post]

Played it tonight for 3.5 hours straight and literally i didn't want to turn this game of,that to me is a sign of a quality game, and when its a FPS then thats even better.

The visuals are beautiful and the map design and layout superb, there is so much to see and so much to do you can literally waste hours and basically achieve very little, the more outpost you take down and towers the more of the map is revealed,to be honest i limit outposts and towers and try and do as much as i can in the area thats opened,it can get quite confusing when you open up even more areas of the map.

As with Far Cry 3 i try and find the items required to craft bigger weapon and ammo bags as I'm trigger happy and 40 bullets don't do it for Timey.

I have now unlocked the Elephant skill so i can ride elephants,i also took a trip to a outpost in a Gyrocopter and that was also a fantastic experience.

Think i have done around 6% of this game and had near on 5 hours in total and I'm only just getting started.

The game is every bit as i imagined and some, and its going to keep me happy for many many weeks rest assured.

Stunning game matey, it's one of those games that you set off on one of the main missions and find yourself doing ten side missions on the way wink
