Dying Light Delayed outside of North America.

[link to this post]

I smell a Rat

Digitally downloaded its not affected at the usual over exaggerated price policy that we see with digitally downloaded content.

Think this game is on the Sony store for £55 as a digital title when I'm paying £40 for a retail copy.

Now this could be nothing but since it was quoted that the game went Gold a week or so back if not longer why the delay.

Are they expecting negative reviews,or are they trying to push the hardcore who don't want to wait down the digital downloadable route at over inflated ridiculous prices.

Apparently the delay is only a few days or something but something just doesn't sit right in my books.

Shopto have now edited the release of the 30th to TBC ..Weird or what.

Is this another Drive Club in the making.

I did see that earlier and thought it was strange, Although surely if it was a [censored] review thing they would of delayed the US version, That's not been delayed at all.

video game industry is getting worse and worse, but they treat NA favourably as that's where most of the press is.

Remember AC5 mysteriously only in the UK got pulled from steam at launch, so people had to buy from uplay.

Don't make any sense to me only that the digital version is not delayed believes me to think the want to milk the over inflated prices of the game in question given that there are many out there that are not prepared to wait.

Its similar to the Drive Club fiasco and the promised playstation plus scenario only this was never going to be a freebie .

As much as i am looking forward to this game but didn't exactly get bowled over by Dead Island i am prepared to wait a week or so.

In the mean time i shall continue with the masterpiece that is GTA5 and more than likely download the resident evil Hd Remake Wednesday.

Yeah from a game that been make in Poland which is Europe and we get to wait,Fact is Europe is a way bigger market than the US but we continue to get shafted at ever opportunity be it game releases or the Sony/Microsoft stores with different content at different times only the Americans generally get it before anyone else.

I thought you said Swanny was the conspiracy king? wink

I'm guessing the physical game discs will be produced in the US for that market, not over here then shipped. That being the case I would suspect a simple production run delay. We'll soon find out if its only a few days delay, that will be the most likely answer.

Re: Dying Light new release date announced

[re: time2die] [link to this post]

According to Gamestop the new release date for the retail copies of Dying Light is now 20th Feb.

If true this is a massive delay of almost 3 weeks and it happens to be on exactly the same day as the Playstation Exclusive The Order 1886 and that in some respects is going to severly affect sales.

Im intrigued as to what the review will be for this game at the end of next week, and will this delay have a even more severe impact on sales given the delay and a negative review.

I said i wouldnt buy over inflated digital content but i was looking forward to this game, but if the reviews are solid and it gets outstanding user reviews and the delay is conformed to be around the 20th of Feb i may reconsider as I'm sick of games releasing at the same time and like Nelly i have high hopes for The Order.

An extra 3 weeks to do the repoduction/copying from the master seems a long time, I don't think the delay will be because of expected bad reviews etc or surely they would want to get it out everywhere at the same time.
Is this a sneaky way of trying to see if people will buy the digital version instead of waiting.
£55 for it isn't to bad for me considering the relevent version is £45 at amazon (be a zombie version), As I tend to pick up £50 worth of MS credit for £40 then I will need to put another £5 on top of it to make £45 as well.
I enjoyed Dead Island co-op and this looks a improved version of that so I'm tempted by the digital version as I don't think I would sell the game anyway.

Your last sentence .......I don't think I would sell the game anyway ? That would be nice if the game gets released and it lives up to the previews I have seen of the game...

2 problems with digital content...

1/ why the feck is it dearer than a retail disk ,and not just a few pounds £10/15 difference.
2/ once purchased there is no going back,no recouping a little bit of the outlay your stuck with it regardless.

Now if it's like Far Cry 4 and games similar to Uncharted and The last of us I don't have a issue, but based on the number of games that came out last year that were very highly thought of only to fail once released that wouldn't sit well in my book.

I agree though regarding reviews,as it would be suicidal not to get retail copies out if they were expecting terrible reviews, like you I think it's a ploy to push many of the people looking forward to it down the digital route .

If it was slightly cheaper I wouldn't care but there is no way both Microsoft and Sony can justify those inflated prices and it's greed on behalf of both of them.

As you know on the Xbox One I went almost exclusively digital purely because I could get digital downloads from various sources much cheaper than the UK, so wasn't such an issue if the game didn't live up to the hype!!

As to why this has been delayed for retail release here is beyond me, just doesn't add up!!
If it is a ploy to push people towards digital surely they could do it i a different way, ie offer/add content that isn't compatible with the disk version?

What doesn't make sense is the fact that there is no delay in the USA and retail hard copies go on sale on Tuesday Stateside ......If there is a delay in the manufacturing of these disks then why is this not the same over in the US...

Then take into consideration that this developer is not even based in the US but in Poland which is in Europe that's another joke ....

I still think there is some kind of hidden agenda here and personally it's the digital downloadable route they want to push the fans of that genre down ....

If it's delayed then all content worldwide should be affected and it's not....Was you buying it Jorkila ?

Going on The last of Us this evening online if you fancy getting canned BIGTIME ,especially if Nelly is on our team ......He's a One Man Army with a pea shooter....wink

You want to try and get into this game as its brilliant but highly frustrating dying constantly up against some real good team players ......

Tell you I have never enjoyed a online game like this for ages, but I have never felt like snapping the disk in half with frustration of some of my play and my choices ...

I have to get out of this run and gun mode I love as its just not suited to this game, never sprint around in this game,it gives away your position and the teams.......Won't make one bit of difference to Nelly....He will be on the opposite side of the nap waiting for a Medic to patch him up......AGAIN..wink

I talk a good game, frag text me but i just couldn't be bothered with putting the headset on and playing this intense game or any other sort of online game.

Don't know whats the matter with me at present as i just like doing single player games and the thought of playing online has no appeal whatsoever .

I generally don't play many games online, because the majority of them suck anyway so we are not exactly spoilt for choice.

Cod,Battlefield i have no interest and only gear of war horde mode and the last of us hold my attention.

We must get a crew together though and give it a bash.wink

I'm just lazy mate and can not be bothered with all the false address business associated with doing all this.

Originally I set up a Jap and USA account on the Playstation 3 and it's just another nightmare as far as I'm concerned and they took away some of the payments you used to be able to use...

If it was a 30 second process and I didn't have to keep changing back and fourth from Jap/US/UK account I might be slightly interested....

Anyway......Dying light Delay Talk....

The Developers and Publisher Warner must either be extremely confident in there product given the delay news outside of North America or extremely stupid....This game gets negative reviews next week and this game is going to lose Millions with cancelled pre/ orders and from people that were going to pick it up...

And I just don't something stupid checking out this digital pre/ order stuff on the PSN store....I pre ordered but no money was taken until 2 days before release, since it's next Wednesday in the UK I cancelled it as I'm waiting on those reviews before I commit £55 smackers for this product ...wink

Really not that hard mate!!

XBOX ONE ONLY

Microsoft seems to have decided completely against both cross-regional PayPal and credit card use. Now the only way to buy stuff is with Microsoft Xbox Gift Cards. These are sold in many places but the best way is to go to Amazon.com and buy them there. Below is a direct link to that page.

http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-50-Gift-Card-One/dp/B00ED...

You need a couple of things to buy from the US Store. Create a vPost account and use that address when adding your credit card to Amazon.com and when adding a billing address on your Xbox. Using that would make sure that the address you use is actually linked to you, even though all the codes will be sent by email (remember to buy "online game code" and not "card"). Remember that you must choose the vPost address as your Amazon.com billing address or you won't be able to buy the codes.

Using the address from vPost lets you buy from the US Store. Since it is an Oregon address you will not have any added sales tax.

With these things in hand, follow these instructions:
On your Xbox One go to Settings>System>Language & Location and change your Location to United States and press reboot.
Go to Settings>Payment & Billing>Change/Add billing address
Enter your name and the address provided by vPost
Redeem your codes from Amazon
Buy stuff
(Optional) Change back region to whatever it was before, don't worry, you can change as often as you want and your billing info is saved for the next time you want to switch to the US Store and buy something.

Jorkila i have done it before mate and like Nelly I'm not one for digital content and rules and regulations that go with it.

Unfortunately if i find the reviews favourable come Tuesday i will download Dying light Midnight Wednesday when it becomes available in Europe through the PSN Store,I'm not prepared to wait until the 27th Feb when i will be hammering The Order 1886 a week before.

Im doing this as a one of only if the game reviews are extremely positive and it lives up to the previews and from what i have seen during the last12 months.

God help the publisher and the developer if this bombs at the review stage next week, because they going to lose Millions given the delay if this is the case ?

1) I agree that it is stupid that it is dearer than a retail disc and a fair bit at that, but when the publishers set the price they can set it (and do) to the full retail price where as a store can buy more and get a discount and so pass some of it onto customers.

2) I liked both Dead Island co-op and Mirrors Edge a lot and this seems a mix of them both and as such I doubt very much I would be selling it anyway so it doesn't matter (to me) if its the digital version or the disc version really for that reason.

Microsoft and Sony don't set the prices on their stores (for 3rd party games) the publishers do so it's not MS or Sony getting greedy for this it's the publishers.

I tend to pick up £50 worth of MS credit for around £40 from places like CDkeys anyway so the digital price and the disc prices tend to be around the same anyway with that discount.

I'll be getting it for sure as it's one of the games I've been waiting ages for along with The Division and a couple others. Do you actually know the actual release date of the digital version?, I've seen many places say it's a worldwide release of 27th but on xbox.com it says 30th (not sure what it says for PS version). So I'm not sure when it's out LOL.

It's officially the 28th as I have sort of pre/ ordered it and the Sony store tells me it's available to download at 12am on the 28th Jan.....

I ain't waiting a month for the retail disk,a week I could have put up with but come the 27th I will be playing The Order 1886 but based on the fact it's just single player I don't see that taking long and hopefully then back to dying light if it's really good and the multiplayer is addictive .

Just checked the Xbox live date and it's diwn as the 30th which I think is wrong ,I think it's because officially the retail disk was intended to release on that day and it's been delayed ,but worldwide digital release date should mean exactly what it says and that's the 28th...

Then again Sony site could be wrong.....

So you bought it for the paperweight ? wink which literally gets used less than my Nintendo Wii U .

Why oh why did i even bother getting one of these when there is literally no must have games on this system until Quantum Break eventually gets released which will be nearly 2 years since the Xbox One arrived.

Why don't they bring the Gears Franchise and do a 1 2 3 of the gear games for Xbox One,that would be a game changer as the online is awesome.

Cool, So that's the release date listed in places as 27th, 28th and 30th now.
xbox.com still have it listed as 30th but I've known them to be late to change things, 28th seems a strange day to do it as that's a Wednesday. Don't remember the last time a game wasn't released on either Tuesday or Friday, Then again this game hasn't exactly been the norm for release due to the retail disc issue.
Hopefully 28th it is.

Watch this space....both Nelster and Swanny will by this if it gets glowing reports of both Timey and Jorkila, there is no way Nelly will be able to resist,Swanny more than likely as he makes Harold Steptoe look like the Lord of the manor ....tongue Nelly will be tempted as the retail disk is 1 week after The Order 1886 and that's 4 weeks away.......

Oh and on that note The Order 1886 is getting quite a few negative previews calling it very generic and Gears of War like and with a dire control scheme when the buttons assigned do 2 things depending on where your standing ,like wanting to switch weapons but doing something else ....

So many games seem to disappoint lately on the new hardware .....

Well i watched the last few minutes of the timer before it went to zero and was supposed to be unlocked but then i had a error message when i clicked on the game and a little padlock symbol in the right hand corner of the icon.

Great i thought, the very first time i buy a digital full game and we got this junk, anyway i got a message saying error if you wish to play this content purchase it from the playstation store and some error code to go along with it which quite frankly don't mean a great deal.

Hello I've already bought the product at inflated prices 2 days ago why do i need to do that again, anyway to cut a long story short i spent the first 20 minutes trying to get this game to start and tried many things, couldn't redownload it as the option wasn't there but at the end of countless button presses and setting changes i restored the licences [another thing that means absolutely nothing] anyway after that all worked fine and dandy.

Now the Game. From what i have seen and played its brilliant and the graphics are as sweet as a nut and I'm going to love this for sure.

Dialogue isn't the best but the world is drop dead gorgeous to look at and explore, only really done the prelude which is a introduction to the controls and learning the climbing mechanics just like mirrors edge.

More about it tomorrow evening when i get some serious playtime with it,oh and i got the 2 free bonus items thrown in for the delay in the Uk,was hoping these would be included in the digital version and not just the disk come 27th Feb.

Be the Zombie was one of the extra items which originally was a pre/order bonus only

LOL

It could be worse, A friend of mine can't get it to download on the PS4 (apparently loads are having issues downloading it or getting it to load on the PS4) Even worse that that the xbox UK version date is now the 30th Jan like I mentioned a few days ago and not the 28th like they said the release date was.

I really don't know why we are having all these issues with games releasing broken and the mess the Playstation store is and has been since the Playstation 4 releases ,the message system is absolute junk and hardly working ,admittedly they have sorted it out on occasions but it still far from a fluid procedure .

Why is he having trouble mate downloading it,is there the option to download the game or what, and wasn't yourself buying this game and how are you fairing downloading it.

Took me the best part of 20 minutes to get the game to unlock and play ,and when I look at the hard drive it says 13 gig of 18 or something installed ,when I downloaded the single player part it said before I hit download it was around 18 gig,yet when it started to download it ended up been 5 gig.

As for Microsoft digital release date of the 30th ,well that's really stupid considering it's the 28th on the PSN service when it works.....

Besides originally it was stated that digital will get a Worldwide release date of 27th Jan which means exactly that and not the 28th and the 30th.....

Taking a quick Gander there seems as you say a lot of people struggling to download this, apparently according to Sony it's a Licensing issue....[ don't ask Me ].

Some have got it working by clicking on your name on your Playstation and then clicking on download list and doing it from there, another done what I done in the settings and restored licences ,and another downloaded some Far Cry 4 wallpaper and then the download of Dying light worked.....they all seem utterly stupid but when I restored licences mine then became unlocked ..

I've got no idea what the problem was with my mate downloading it on the PS4. He just told me he couldn't do it but I'm guessing it's likely to be the licencing issue that you've mentioned.

I've downloaded the XB1 version for myself but for whatever reason the release dates are now all over the place

28th (today) for Aus and New Zealand
29th for France, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemburg
30th for UK and other international markets

They (@dyinglightgame) tweeted at 11pm ish on 27th that they had been "abruptly informed" that the XB1 release games were the above.
Well that seems a little weird as like I've said on here I must of looked on xbox.com site at least a week ago and it was listed as 30th back then so that's [censored] as it's been that way for at least a week and probably a while longer than that.

What I don't get though is why has the digital version been pushed back to different dates in different locations, I've had it download for a few days now so it's not like it wasn't available etc and it's been on xbox store for a good few weeks to pre order.

People also reporting that when they finally got to play co-op it's not saving some peoples progress and when they load it up afterwards or someone leaves then some are reporting it tells them to do the first mission again and no missions have been saved.

I do miss the days before internet gaming when they had to release a proper working game when it came out as there was no way to update/patch the game to make it work as now, Most, Seem to release a broken game and then we the customers have to wait for a patch to make the game playable.

The release of this game has been a complete shambles though first for the retail disc version and now the digital version, This is almost as bad as the Alan Wake game for release dates, Pretty sure it was first shown in 2005 or 2006, First release date given of 2008 then 2009 and it finally came out in 2010 although those delays were obviously because the game wasn't ready/finished this game has been finished.

You should have done what Jorkila does and buy it from overseas with a little tinkering to your region settings,he had his up and running yesterday before I could even begin downloading,he sent me the pictures and it only cost him £29.99 for a shared copy .....wink

As for the games open world and graphics they look drop dead gorgeous, controls can feel a little awkward like getting the hang of climbing but I'm well impressed and with the hour I spent late last night eventually..

I ended up paying £37.50 for a £50 MS card so ended up paying £42.50 for the game which I share with a friend so I ended up paying £21.25 for the game, I can't be bothered to change to another region just to buy it and change it back etc.
I've not got any free time to play it before Thurs maybe even Fri so it isn't a major issue that it was delayed 3 days from what they said but if I had purchased it to play it on Tues when they first said it was out I'd be a little [censored].

If your on the fence regarding this game and like me didn't think Dead Island was any good then worry no more because this is extremely good game with fantastic graphics and a beautiful open world to explore at your leisure .

If you want to be critical then the dialogue can be a little weak and it's basically fight your way from point A to point B but a nice couple of skill trees to unlock and advance your survival /Agility Skills .

After all far cry 4 and gta5 are go to point a to b games and they are brilliant also.

Been on it about 4 hours and I'm around 7% unlocked and have not even scratched the surface ,not touched multiplayer like co/op or Be The Zombie but from what I have read about it from other users it's really addictive.....

It's not out on retail disk in the UK until 27th Feb due to the delay, but if your not to worried about the extra cost then it's on the PSN Store now and Microsoft store tomorrow.....If you want it at a cheaper rate then Jorkila on here is the main Man to talk to...

Loving the game though and have no regrets with the purchase ....wink

I spent about 12 hours on this over the weekend with my two friends and it is brilliant. It does get a little mind numbing if you spend too long on it, I think I did 7 hours in a row Sunday and I was getting a bit bored towards the end but other than that I really enjoyed it.

It was a little daunting at first with all of the different menus like your inventory, blueprints etc. I find I spend half my time looking through my items & sorting them all out haha.

I have pretty much done all of the side quests in the slums area but as I was playing in my friends game it didn't record any of my progress, although it does save my character stats so when I play my own game now I will have all my good equipment and improvements so I can rattle through the story.

The skill tree is really good, some nice little things that you can unlock in there. I've just unlocked the grappling hook too and that is loads of fun, don't try and use it on one of the big dudes though lol wink

I meant to add that I am really impressed with the graphics and the lighting, it is gorgeous!

Oh and a useful tip for ALOT of loot is to swim across the river from the fishing village and climb up the bridge tower, it's a bit tricky as you have to jump from pipe to pipe and I did die a couple of times. Once you get up there though you can jump off onto the broken bit of the bridge and there are loads of police vans, ambulances and tents there.

I got myself about 40 medkits, 30 to 40 gauzes, 3 pistols, 2 rifles and loads of ammo. I also found an amazing katana for slicing zombie heads off laugh

This game was a must purchase for me the moment I saw the first video of gameplay of it last year, So far this has not let me down.

In co-op it's such a good game, Working together to lockpick a store while team mates keep the zombies off that person etc is so good.
Fighting against 2 zombies at once and then watching one of their heads explode out of nowhere when a mate attacks it from the side with a heavy weapon was a highlight as well.
Was funny when the game is at night time as well with the uber zombies and someone gets spotted and [censored] hits the fan and everyone runs around like a headless chicken trying to get away from them.

Yeah none of my so called PSN friends have the game so Co/Op with strangers doesn't really appeal. The digital price is inflated but if you want a good game and you want it today its the only way to go unfortunately.

Besides the UK new release date is far to close to others and this is seriously going to impact sales of this game regardless of the good reviews.

So i will delete you then Swanny wink

No mate you actually sent me 1 GTA5 invite and i responded with I'm playing the single game first and finishing it.

To many people cast the best part of a game away and go straight into Multiplayer but i don't ,and until i have finished it whenever that may be I'm not playing multiplayerSimples tongue.

And the last few months since about the first week of the release of Far Cry 4 then thought of putting on a headset and playing games has not appealed if I'm quite brutally honest.

Played a brief bit of co/op far cry 4 with Nelly and that was it,he didn't contact me to play.nether did you and neither did i

Swanny you in your PSN lifetime which is literally a few short months have sent me 1 game request which i declined for reasons explained in my other post.

Sometimes i just can not be bothered with online games for various reasons.i like to get used to the controls and thats why i use the single player part of the game to do this, plus i have so many more games than you i don't have the need to go online.

I sent you a invite to The Last of Us the other night but you had a farmers Convention and declined, then you said you had to get used of the game which i told you to do 2 months ago.crazy

I'm not sure why that is and seriously can not remember been limited,is your rucksack full or something with clutter you can sell or don't require.

The only other thing I can think of is it must be a upgrade or something ,I tried to pick up a weapon today and it said rucksack full but you on your screen last night had empty slots...

Did find something out about the weapons in the list, the number by the side of them is the number of times you can fix them, after that they are useless, but don't throw them away break them down in the menu and you get metal for them which helps towards getting others and upgrading them.

So when you want to pick up a fifth weapon, do you have to move one to your back pack first? Everytime I find a new weapon, it drops the one I am holding. I personally think it is a levelling up issue.

That sounds like you have the 'swap weapons' option in the game options turned on and it's swapping the weapon in your hand for the one on the floor. Have a look if it's turned on, If it is then turn it off and then the weapon you pickup should go into your inventory.

It's under options and then game and says something about turning swap weapons on by pressing and holding button. (it's off by default)

Basically if you have the option on in the game menu then if there is a weapon on the floor and you press and hold the pickup button then it will swap the weapon in your hand for the one on the floor and so end up dropping the one you had in your hand, If you just press the button then you will just pickup the weapon and it will go into your inventory and the weapon in your hand will remain the same.

Turning the above option off you just pickup the weapon.

I am indeed playing this myself along with a few mates in co-op.

Will check it out later this evening,I really don't understand some of the extremely low review scores as personally I think it's really reall good.

Sort of hit and miss reviews, some saying it's brilliant but a lot of other popular gaming sites giving it 6s and 7s at best.

Saying that the user reviews on Metacritic are extremely positive.

Mate, thank you!

I'm not home yet, but I KNOW that I turned that option on when I saw it in the menu. Why? Because it didn't say not to and it sounded useful lol! So it will definitely be the problem!

Timey is right it was properly doing my head in having to throw away modified weapons to pick up new ones. It meant stopping mid mission all the time, so as to try to find weapons.

And you know what they say about 10,000 spoons, when all you need is a knife.....

Nothing more frustrating than having something happen in a game that you don't require and can not figure out why it's doing it especially when you have empty slots in your inventory for other weapons that you find throughout the game.

Hope it's solved mate and give me a call later on this evening or a PSN Message ....

Yeah it worked!

I have a rucksack full of weapons and I'm loving it now!

One thing that still irritates me though (and I seem to remember dead island being the same) is the random save/respawn locations. Anybody else noticed this? Perhaps there is a deliberate (random) pattern I'm missing for some reason?

Anyway, getting ear ache for not going on DriveClub with the boys recently, but this game is too much fun for that at the minute. grin

Tell me about it?!?! confused

I remember a similarly named option in FarCry3 (I think?) for hot swapping weapons and thought, hello, that's probably useful! blush

I'm not sure about the completions bit though Jaxx. When I first tried to play with Timey, I hadn't realised you needed to reach a certain point (early on) before co-op unlocked. When it did and he invited me to play, I was warned it would ruin my campaign in some form. Can't remember what, but got the impression it meant mission completions, so I didn't bother and invited him into my game instead.

Together, we managed to make Shaun of The Dead look like a serious documentary! crazy grin

[re: time2die] [link to this post]

Co-op is amazing, Had a mate unlocking a van and a zombie was sneaking up on him, I just ran up and drop kicked the zombie off the side of the bridge.

The drop kick looks amazing but the leg breaking move is the move I use 90% of the time, If it doesn't kill them then they are crawling super slow.

Sidestepping a running zombie while winding up a more powerful melee (unlock you can get) is also a great move, If you get it right then it tends to cause critical hit damage to the head or knocks the head clean off.

The leg breaking move seems OP though, Why bash at a zombie for a number of hits when if timed right (which is pretty easy to do) will take it out in 1 hit, Even better it works just as well on the running infected zombies and the human enemys.

Also found what appeared to be some of the uber volitile zombies in a partial cocooned like state during the day.

I had the option of the leg break slide and ignored it, mainly because I imagined loads of crawlers all over the place. They were a real pain in COD Zombies, catching you out when you weren't looking!

I opted for the ground strike move first, the one with double handed weapons only? Quite useful when cornered standing still! smile

Well I'm only 25% ish into the game but I would say 90% of the time a leg break slide kills the enemy outright and if it doesn't then unless you are standing around in the same place the crawlers don't get you.
I think I've been grabbed twice by crawlers since doing it, Once I was in the menu trying to find the weapon I'd just picked up and the other I was trying to line up a drop kick to hit 2 zombies into some spikes.

I may have to look into getting the ground strike move, I've got my guy to be quite like a ninja at the mo and have the dodge moves, Being able to jump on and over them, My guys clothes even have those Ninja boots..

I'm 22% in now and starting to amass a few skills at last!

I chose the drop kick last night instead of the leg break slide, taking on board your "overpowered" comment. It's good fun and doesn't kill them first time, which makes for more excitement of course. I've also been choosing options for weapon improvement, such as increased durability and repairs not using up repair quota.

Still hoping for a silencer to make the assault rifle more usable, without getting legged all the time after making a racket.

I played it for the first time in a few days yesterday and I'm 22% in as well myself but then I think that is based on the main storyline, I've stopped doing that for now and me and my mates have started doing side missions a lot.
It had an update on the XB1 and they either have nerfed the slide a little or I wasn't timing it as well now but it doesn't seem to be as OP as before, I've got the drop kick as well (well the updated one) and it's funny as hell booting zombies all over the place especially if you get them off high places or over railings, Get the timing of it right and you seem to be able to break their backs or even kick their head clean off.
Pretty sure going by how my guy appears to be able to break someones leg and kill them with a little slide and that he can boot someones head clean off sometimes with a drop kick that at the end of the story it's going to reveal that the character we play is actually Superman with amnesia or something.
