Some decent games wouldn't go a miss,rumour has it Gears Remake is set to launch August.

Nelly it will be time to own a Xbox One for this remake alone,believe me when i tell you Horde on the 360 was one of my all time favourite games and one of the most addictive game modes i have ever played.

pc community is hoping for lightning returns SE announcement (is late was due this past spring), ff15 for pc, type 0 for pc.
Any decent single player games for either ps4 or pc I would be happy with.
Just remember if they start showing games with out of the world visuals, the final product probably wont be like that.

I got completely bored with The Witcher,intact i might as well trade that for the new Lego Jurassic Park or whatever its called  Yea I'm that desperate to dump any game i don't like.
Pre/ordered the new Batman game even though I'm not exactly a big fan having played previous versions which seem like glorified beat em ups if I'm honest.
Like some of the stuff and gadgets in the game but I'm not into beat em ups and Batman seems to have plenty of this sort of stuff.
I hate Summer months and Gaming Droughts

I really hope something exciting comes out soon, I've hardly touched my Xbox for months now. Gaming has completely died off for me as nothing seems to be coming out. I have no interest in the Elder Scrolls online as I didn't really like Oblivion or Skyrim and I'm not really interested in The Witcher.
I'm still waiting to hear more on Quantum Break which keeps getting pushed back and back. The only game I am really looking forward to is Star Wars Battlefront, that looks incredible!
I will more than likely get Gears too if that comes out. Although I disagree that Horde was better than COD Zombies. The original COD Zombie maps were fantastic, especially Der Rise, I don't think I have ever played a "survive the waves" game that is better than that.

Fair play to M$ they had a their best conference for a while.
Backwards compatability with it being FREE is a major thing.
Gears 4 looked awesome.
Hololens on Minecraft looked crazy but I'll be shocked if when it comes out it is anything like what was showed.
Big shock that COD was not shown though, I'm guessing they lost the timed exclusivity of the DLC's, So have Sony got it or is it both out at the same time or even a what seemed crazy at the time is COD a PS timed or even complete exclusive (can't see it myself but stranger things have happened).
Can see PS people scrambling around trying to sort out something to do with backwards compatability, Let's hope PS have a good one as well as competition always makes things better.

yeah it has to be said since the launch microsoft have been way more active than sony, sony appeared to have launched the ps4 and thought wow job done after that point. BC is massive for the xbox1, if its true BC not some limited version on selected titles. Also as I said xbox1 getting closer to PC on the API and ECO system.

Cod Zombies was slow and tedious,the guns fired were nothing like what they was in the actual Game,seems like some arcade add on if you asked me.
Gears Horde is way better���Fact. and fast and frantic game play to match unlike Cod Zombies.
Nice seeing you Jaxx but turning up here every 6 months isn't exactly pro/active now is it.
My Xbox One has more dust on it then any other item in my house,and like you it never gets used and in my opinion in its present state and lack of games a complete waste of money,and a lot of money and full price at the time even now its reduced by about £150 without the unless Kinect that should not have been mandatory in the first place.
Im now going to check out some more E3 Vids.

Just been watching the Microsoft Presentations and Kudos to them for what they are coming up with,Backward Compatibility and a drop dead gorgeous new designed controller and a host of exciting games think they are really pushing Sony which is great news for gamers.
Like other comments i also believe Sony have stood still since there trouncing of Microsoft on the console reveal 18 months back.
Whats also good is people with the preview builds of all future Microsoft updates [thats me.thanks to Jorkila] Have access to 360 games today apparently to test out on there Xbox One.

The New Gears looks awesome and we are getting the Redux of Gears in August which was rumoured and expected,time to dust of the old Xbox One and finally have some reasons to play it this Autumn.

I do dust of my consoles on a regular basis,and the girlfriend does clean Swanny it was just me expressing how the Xbox one basically sits there doing nothing but gathering dust.
I think in the 18 months i have had it i doubt i have played it for more than 12 hours and to me it was not a good or wise investment.
I think i bought it for the exclusive Titanfall game that failed to live up to expectations and another Cod Type game that i got bored with in a matter of a few days.

Black Ops 3 or should that be Black OOPS 3��.same dated engine.same dated graphics,same boring gameplay and copy/paste scenario.
Seriously I'm not buying into this and this is one game that can go and take a hike unless I'm convinced that this game has more and looks and plays a lot better than the mediocre trailer i just witnessed.
Even the multiplayer looks like Pants and this franchise seriously needs a reality check and stop bombarding us with the same [censored] year in year out.
Fallout 4 and The last guardian has me excited,black Ops 3 simply don't cut it in todays FPS on the market,in fact it looks more like Titanfall 2 as they seem to have nicked stuff from the original Titanfall which wasn't to inspiring in the first
place.

Just got a code for this and downloaded the week long beta.once downloaded i was bemused when it said that i hadn't been granted access to play the game.
Seems having done a little internet research and went to the gearsofwar.com forums 2 codes are required,one for the download and then one to grant you access to play the game.
What does surprise me and i do hope this isn't true,that this is a remake of the very first Gears Game and as we know Horde mode wasn't included until Gears 2.
If this is the case its another game i won't be ordering because Horde was the mode i played only and the rest of the multiplayer i wasn't that keen on,it was good but it didn't have me gripped like Horde mode.
I now await a second code to confirm my worse fears......

And what a great bit of marketing by Microsoft to do that and i do hope Gears 3 is one of those supported games,i actually saw this in Game only yesterday at the incredibly low price of £3.
Just wish we didn't have to wait until Winter for the Xbox One update and the backward compatibility,even though a few lucky ones are testing it as we speak with a 100 xbox 360 games in the library at present.
This has to put the fear of god up Sony with this smart move from Microsoft,Sony went to sleep and Microsoft suffered from Insomnia .
From the brief Sony Briefing and presentation only The Last Guardian has me remotely interested in there offering,a game that has been taken about and in development for the past 6 years.
The game looked really exciting,but i couldn't help feeling that the visuals in some cases looked like a good game on a playstation 3 and not a jaw dropping playstation 4 in terms of visual enhancements .
From what i have watched in terms of presentations from both major Studios,Microsoft have literally slaughtered Sony.
The only thing Sony seem to have which Microsoft hasn't is download content for Black Ops 3 first, exclusive for a period to them and not like its been in the past when it all went to Microsoft and Sony Players had to wait a extra month.
And to be honest in my case i couldn't care less about Cod and Black Ops.
Another waste of time and money for exclusive content for 30 days....

Not from where I'm sitting they haven't
I haven't watched every minute of the Sony press conference as i got bored and skipped a lot of it,from where I'm sitting Microsoft literally hammered Sony and I'm not a fanboy of either.
I have tended to buy 90% of my games on the Sony Platform for obvious reasons,but the tide is a turning my friends and there is no way Sony won this E3 based on the presentations from both i watched,just backward compatibility alone on the Xbox One was reason alone that Microsoft won this event,never mind that they have more exclusive games and content this year compared to Sony.
Guerrilla new game Horizon looked interesting,but for me the new Tomb Raider,Fallout 4 and Rainbow Six and a fair few others had me more excited.
Looks like another expensive September,October and November........Again.

Sony only Jewel in the Crown.
Quite a massive leap from developers only really known for Joe Danger a arcade type racing game.
Well thats all i know about Hello Games or what i have heard from those developers in the past,i downloaded Joe Danger on release and it was a colourful enjoyable arcade type obstacle racing game with cartoon graphics.
This is Sony AAA title,its not the only one but at present i don't see a lot to shout about reference Sony.....Oh and they know what they can do with there Project Reality whatever its called............Would rather purchase a Nintendo Nes and start all over playing 8 bit games than VR.
People say its the future,and Sony want masses of 3rd Party support because they haven't got the conference in there own project,just look at the dire Playstation Move,the PSP and the Vita and you can see why ?

Im going through Duel Shock 4s like i change my socks,had 2 failed trigger buttons in the past 6 months.......
Sony go back to the design office and come up with something that rivals at least Microsoft future offering in a few months.
And Uncharted 4 looks absolutely Mind Blowing,sadly this game has slipped into 2016 and won't be out this year and another reason i didn't really mention it.
I only really want to concentrate on what around the corner and the next 3/4 months,another reason why i failed to mention The Tom Clancy Themed Division .

Nintendo are so far up there own Backsides they have decided on a E3 No Show and have given the world a Digital presentation which I'm kind of watching as i type this.
If your over 12 then i personally wouldn't bother as they have lost complete touch with mature type gamers and continue down the rocky road to ruin and despair with there lack lustre presentation and kiddie orientated games.
The Nintendo Wii U i had a few weeks of fun with,mainly playing older Zelda games from the past like Windwaker.
Apart from that its another paperweight but only half the size of my Xbox One.
How the mighty have fallen and how far out of touch with reality and there fans they are.
Im 20 minutes in and I'm literally bored to death,Starfox Zero looks like a Nintendo 64 game and utilises the massive gigantic Tablet sized Wii U controller,something else i hate about the system having different vision from close up to about 8 feet away.........Obviously this is a young persons market and i must be getting old and losing focus fast with the majority of games i see at this Nintendo presentation.
They should actually market Nintendo consoles with the following message on the boxes.
Not suitable for 16 years and older..........Period
Oh and don't get me talking about Skylanders and Amiibo or whatever its called .

Just admire the amount of detail in the sections of the game that in reality you only see for a few seconds while driving the Jeep.

So personally i think Microsoft have pulled a masterstroke by announcing backward Compatibility with the Xbox One this coming Winter.
But the mind boggles as to why they need to ask gamers what games they would like to play from there 360 days on there current Xbox One.
I don't work for either Microsoft or Sony but boy if i did i wouldn't need to ask stupid questions,there are currently around One Hundred 360 titles available to play on your Xbox One and people with preview of the Xbox One platform currently have access to these games and looking at them I'm a little bit underwhelmed if I'm honest.
You bring your best sellers and Big Guns to the event my friends,your biggest exclusive and best franchise like Gears of War and for the teens amongst us Halo.
I think its about time Gaming Companies employed Gamers,people in the know and not just some corporate director who once used to work for a double glazing company...
I just don't understand the mindset of these Gaming Companys and constant inability to understand what Gamers require.
Its brilliant what Microsoft have now done 18 months after there massive PR disaster,but don't ask stupid questions ? You know Gears was your exclusive Jewel in the crown and don't need telling,its stupidity like this that makes you understand how they completely [censored] up in the first place.

Battlefront looks amazing graphics wise, I'm not 100% sold on the aiming and shooting, It appears a little easy against say BF4.
Would love a WW2 game myself, A while ago they seemed to be a new WW2 game released every week now there's not been one for a while, Now it's all futuristic rubbish, Can't wait for it to go full circle and the time period to be set in the past not the future.

I haven't seen the E3 Tomb Raider and Rainbow Six Seige details, but Horizon looks amazing. It's pre alpha so hopefully that frame rate will get much smoother (it needs to!) but I had an open world Tomb Raider meets Shadow of the Collossus feeling watching that gameplay video. Really one to watch develop I think.
As for UC4, say no more. It really is the definition of gaming in my eyes and I really didn't think it would look as much of an improvement as it does. The destructibility of simple items (carts and fences etc.) looked really well done. Far more enjoyable than all this "levolution" type grandstanding we see nowadays. Just simple, low level, environmental interaction done really nicely. I can't wait. This franchise really does put a lot of developers to shame to be honest. Imagine if they all had the resources to put out work like this?

That's how I expected to feel about another installment to be fair, especially when we really haven't seen many games take full advantage of the new consoles yet. This looked absolutely stunning though. There will be no need to "get into" UC4. It looks to have evolved really nicely, visually and gameplay wise.

Yeah i mentioned in one of my 16 threads yesterday that Naughty Dog put most of the developers of today to shame with the masterpiece Games.
Horizon is really cool mate i agree and its on a long list of games i will be getting,but i like to concentrate on games out in the next 3/4 months and not late next year . .
Fallout 4 looks brilliant along with No Mans Sky and and those games are right up my street along with Rainbow for a bit of tactical play with some mates [wish i had some].

I wasn't a big fan of UC2. I think UC was better but yea I did really get into UC3. The only part I didn't like was when the ship was sinking and you had to run along a corridor as the water was following you.

Brilliant fun stupid game with crazy stunts and manoeuvres and superb explosions which are some of the best i have ever seen in game.
This looks even more incredible,to term a phrase i would say Just Cause is much Like Far Cry on steroids. or very much in a similar vain to Prototype.

to be honest Swanny i did enjoy Fallout 3 in fits and starts and i loved the way you could use there Vax system and the slow motion kills,there were rpg elements i didn't really enjoy and this game is a massive rpg fps in my opinion.
But its a game i will be buying for sure,in fact i have just pre/ordered 7 games out in the next 3/4 months.
The game that Im not totally sure about is the new Metal Gear,it looks amazing but the last couple of metal gear games i tend to get a little tired and bored with if I'm honest,and stealth type games are not really what i enjoy,I'm a all guns blazing type of player which is totally not suited to metal gear solid games.
Rainbow six is similar but its way more fun,especially if you got a team of 4 mates to play with that game i am looking forward to.
Metal Gear 5 or whatever its called i will wait for more information and reviews as there will be so many others all out at around the same time so no need for a impulse purchase based on lack of releases.
We all know what happens come Autumn ��.A avalanche of games all in the space of a few weeks.
Halo 5 and the new Black Ops at this moment in time don't interest me in the slightest and for me they are teenage orientated and I'm to long in the tooth to care.
