I''l give you that one mate, the 285 compact is a better card and is supposed to run cooler too!!

To be fair though this 760 hits mid 70's overclocked under load so not too sad

You be buying a Xbox One again as soon as the new Tomb Raider ships and a fair few others that may come to the world of PC gaming and may not ?.

Microsoft will bring many of the console games to PC for sure but not without delays in that platform.

Saying that though Killa I'm not surprised why you have sold your Xbox One doesn't do anything machine and i fully understand your frustration as i feel the same hence going back and getting a 360 and all the Gear Games which over the last 2 nights i have had more online fun than the past 2 years.

Too be far mate, there's nowt in between the two at all unless the game supports mantle, which is pretty limited right now anyway. There's only a frame or two either way. I'm building so I get to choose, but I would have made the same swap if it had come my way. Jammy git.

The system itself also over clocks like a dream!!

Run's P Cars at high to ultra settings with a very acceptable frame rate and full grid of cars so I'm more than happy so far!!

I know you're only messing, but as a point of interest for whoever cares, that i5 4690k is a seriously good cpu for gaming. You don't need anything better. Spend it on the GPU.

You could likely get good enough performance on most games from an 80 quid chip, but you'd have to suffer lower efficiency and elevated temps. I'm still pondering whether to go for the 4690k or the 8370E. Not a lot more costly for the i5, but it is only superior on single core performance.
