I got rid of the game (before they released the free DLC's) as it was getting a mite boring. May have to get it again as I somewhat miss it...

I'm going to buy the Venom mouse and nunchuck when I'm less skint, but I'm holding my own with the controller so far. 
Yeah the season pass is free right now, so I bought the game from CD Keys for £9-99. But now I can't download it for 12 hours, most likely because it's free play for 48 hrs on Origin and they're selling it at £15-00. Flipping annoying.
How can you play at such a choppy frame rate Toady, or is that just the recording?

Its the recording - it affects play a bit, but its more or less okay.
FRAPS is usually worse (this was recorded with PlayClaw - which is very good, but of course still affects things)

Well Raptr doesn't affect the gameplay hardly at all, but the payoff it seems, is the recording quality is hit or miss at present. I recorded that last video at 1080/60/50 and the quality sucks!
Trying the next one at 1080/30/10 but still don't hold out much hope. Found a guy on YouTube who claims to have nailed the settings and posted a really good quality SWTOR video. Waiting for a reply and hopefully a eureka moment!
No optical drive so no Argoose! It's downloads only for me at present.

Taking a Titan down by hand is properly satisfying.

Finally got a reasonable quality recording by setting at 1080/30/50. Still loses a bit in compression, but not too bad considering it's youtube.
Skip to 4.30, 5.30 and 9.00 for the Titan boxing.

No Thanks I don't do retro games from the past as I've moved on to more recent games that are a little more appealing than a 2yr old Cod Clone

COD clone? I reckon that's a little harsh. There's never been anything wrong with cod gameplay, just missing innovation. I think Titanfall mixes it up really well. I'll get bored eventually but its a hell of a lot more fun than all the COD games I've played!
Hectic is my thing. I even believe now that there is still a fair amount of connection disparity going on even with the dedi's on pc, but the minion + pilot idea is a simple and intelligent way to have overcome those frustrations.

Lets face it the last 3/4 years of Cod they have been a major disappointment,for me only a Epic Zombie mode will have me slightly interested in buying it.
This is one pre/order i won't be placing,besides that you have Fallout,Just Cause and Rainbow Six all out at around the same time which is seriously going to effect the already dwindling Cod Sales of a dying franchise.
Make no mistake ,when MW came out nearly a decade back if not longer i was blown away and played that game constantly night after night month after month,since then as we have discussed many times over nobody has ever come close to beating it and its declined at a rapid rate.
Its going to sell millions for sure,but sales have decreased over the past 3/4 years and we still have the dated Cod engine and same tedious dull gameplay.

Definitely not mate, especially now Titanfall has filled that desire for frantic run and gun gaming. I was just getting to grips with BF4, but to be fair that's not really my style. 
Will still play it though.

If i hadn't bought all the games that just came out in the last week i would have been tempted to give Battlefield another go with the extra content thats now available as a free download.

Yeah I got "massive payload"' or something enabled at one point (ooer missus) which was even better than nuclear. It nailed me in my ejector seat too though unfortunately!

I believe the automatic ejection system could be selected too... Or possibly not - cant remember now.

No, you are right. I have nuclear destruct and auto eject enabled. It just seemed the "massive payload" option caused to big an explosion to be ejected clear of!

I don't think so - the explosion takes place as you are shot upwards, and as such you can manoeuvre to a safer place. It should be quite survivable - for you at least

Give it ago it's great and there's double xp at the mo. I'm boosting as well which has put me up to level 31 already. Not that I give a monkeys about rank but it means I'm unlocking stuff really quickly

To wrapped up the Epic MGS5 and i mean Epic as its absolutely Awesome
Literally can not stop playing it,and thats rare for me.right up there with Uncharted and The last of us easily

I might give Zeroes another go next week, I should have some spare time by then hopefully. Can't get more than an hour at a time it seems at the moment and I need at least that to give it a fair crack of the whip!
Just wish they would stick to the same controller layout for shooters. Frustrates me (especially in stealth type scenarios) having to re-learn controls all the time.
