Just Cause 3 ..9 days to go

Really going to have some fun with this game but i may just have to put it on the back burner along side Rainbow Six Siege the last games i will be buying this year.

Because boys and Girls,3 days after this is released Timey is on the move and is going back to Shropshire.

So i might just have a quick day with it until i start dismantling all my gear.

I have spent literally hours watching many Just Cause 3 videos and its everything i want in a game,the destruction physics are some of the best i have ever seen and this game is all about destruction and fun.

You sorted your new super fast fibre out yet, for when you get there?

I have all that to do next week,we have Fibre here and the new house is quite a rural location down a quiet country lane,but believe it or not it actually has Fibre enabled so i shall be ringing BT next week sorting this out now we have a moving date of 4th December.

Also need Sky Tv out along with a lot of other things we need to do in the next week or so.

They have a old coal Stove burner in the lounge,thats been ripped out as who still uses Coal............Nice open Log fire will replace that contraption and i guess we will change a lot more over the months.

Could possibly be offline for a week or so mate,it sounds easy in practice but BT are renown for getting things wrong,told me they needed 10 days notice when i enquired a few weeks back.

Obviously it sounds easy moving our account,but we will need a new BT phone number at the property,the people there at present only have standard Adsl.

Its not the fastest fibre,here we get a estimated 65 but at the new house its 38,still this suits me just fine

Its essential her in doors has a stable decent connection,to be honest anything around 10 meg would have been ok for us so having Fibre here is a bonus considering the rural type location with very few houses along the lane coming out of the village.

Got no Gas though Electric and Oil Fired central heating,but surprise most of the houses are on septic tanks....[errrr] but we are on mains drainage .

Over the years we have had many houses with Septic tanks,not really a issue to be honest and it would certainly not have put us of.

This obviously has nothing to do with Gaming ..........Since you asked in my Just Cause 3 thread .

Put in a multi fuel stove so you have the choice of wood or coal...got two of them in our house. Probably a lot cheaper using the oil central heating at the moment if you have to buy logs in but still nice to have a fire. Fortunately I can usually get hold of logs for free

So looking forward to this now, my only concern is will it be too easy? 11 Minutes of game play and the guy only gets hurt once!

Its been made that way so you have time to do the stuff he does in the videos,i was watching a developer play and the interviewer asked that same question.

I know what you mean though,like when you come across soldiers that do little to stop you in your tracks

Its not really about realism mate but having loads of fun with what you can do in this sandbox game of total destruction of a grand scale.

Will take a look at the options mate when we move in a few weeks,i have a few shops in my favourites to visit.

But things like this are not always as straight forward as they sound are they,the people in the house been there 15 years and have used it once according to the lady,so to me that means possibly a Chimney survey for starters

Mines ordered on a Playstation 4 so i can beat all your stunt scores and explosions,thats providing you haven't traded it in 2 weeks time

I'm also torn as to which platform to buy Just Cause on!
If it had proper multi player I would lean towards ps4 but as it hasn't I may have to go for pc seeing as it will be cheaper and look better!

Wood chip boilers are good and you can get a grant towards them as they are eco

Nice but where's the console gameplay

Reading that Xbox One is 900p/30fps, PS4 is 1080p/30fps but there are drops below 30fps during big exlosions, which is pretty unacceptable when 30fps is really the lowest acceptable fps in my opinion!!

Hopefully here Monday ,I'm so looking forward to this game but I'm going to have to put it on the back burner for a few days as i move into our new house.

I may give it a day or 2 if possible

Stop bitching Swanny its not suppose to be a realistic shooter its about destruction and having fun in a massive 400 mile square metre Island.

The game would be absolutely pointless if you constantly died and the developers know that,believe me if you take time out and study the game there are many times when you will die in this game,especially Novices like you .

This is a tongue in cheek type game and its suppose to be fun and engrossing with the best explosions and set pieces you will see in a game,this is not Cod when you die in a Millisecond and becomes some tedious frustrating bore that you want to trade 5 minutes after buying it.

Its not Bloodborne tough or Fallout 4 frustration ,its simply destruction and fun and the game has not pretended to be anything else.

Oh and I'm sure you will be playing it for sure..........

One day you may come on here and actually like a game and not complain about literally everything........Including Game prices and you may pick it up when the price is cheaper..........

The particular place in The last of us that you gave in at was easy......So don't even go there .

Fancy leaving probably one of the greatest gaming single player experiences because you couldn't get past a couple of Clickers.

One day hopefully you will come on here ,take that no game is ever perfect in every single way and enjoy what you have been playing.

Try as i might i can not think of many occasions apart from Battlefield over the years that games you have actually liked.

Lots of reports about the glitches and frame rate issues of both the Playstation 4 and Xbox One versions of Just Cause 3.

Apparently there is a Day 1 patch but many reports are saying this hasn't fixed the many issues,like 15 minutes to load a saved game or waiting a eternity for the game to load once you die [[censored]].

Its not stopping me from buying it though

Like me its here on my Lap and loaded,patch is just under 3 Gig but so i hear this hasn't fixed some of the stuff,unless that site was click bait as suggested by some who have the game and don't have issues.

Right i fired this up last night at 10pm and stopped playing it at 2am so there is a little clue .

Lets Start with the negatives and the reported issues.

The loading screens are a bit of a joke and in some cases you can wait up to 2 minutes to replay a mission if you actually do get killed.[ and yes Swanny you will and can die].

The story and dialogue in the game with cheesy characters is best forgotten,graphically character models are kind of flat and not very exciting,and the driving controls are pretty dam awful on occasions depending on the challenge and the vehicle.

As for slow down i haven't experienced this issue,if i have then i haven't noticed .

Grappling controls take a little of getting used to but after a few easy introductions it gets easier along side parachuting and wing suite .

Now for the good stuff���

Its a absolute blast and the best fun i have had with a game in ages,the explosions,set pieces and what you can do have to be seen to be believed,the destructible environments around the map are breathtaking and its just so dam addictive the 4 hours past by in a instance.

Can not wait until this evening to give it another go,as for percentage i think i am around 4% of a certain area.

Really lived up so far to my expectations for sure. and at this early stage this scores a 9/10 without hesitation from what i have seen and played with little in the way of perks you can unlock��.And believe me there are loads.

By the way you start with unlimited C4 for the duration of the game.

Yes mate Oh i must re/add you to my friends list,apologies i tend to clear out people after a year of not competing or gaming with them.

I need to add you if you intend on getting it on Playstation 4 as there are many challenge your friends missions and scores to beat

Funny reviews though ,they are basically all over the place saying there isn't much o do apart from blow things up and the missions are basically the same and repetitive .

I know its not for everyone and in terms of quality its leagues away from Rise of the Tomb raider,but on the other hand its one of those games you can pickup and lose yourself completely and have a extreme amount of fun doing it.

I don't see this the same as the negative reviews from both Gaming sites and those that troll metacritic and I'm absolutely loving it regardless of slow down,bad textures at times and the fact the there really is no story even half interesting and some really cheesy bland character model and dialogue to match.

This is about destruction and fantastic explosions,and i say now you won't see much better in any game and this is what it does extremely impressively and to me it never gets boring

Makes you laugh that the playstation 3 had about 500k of ram and the Playstation 4 has 8 Gig of GDDR5 which is 16 times the amount yet Just Cause 3 has so many issues on consoles and even a PC.

Looks better on the PS4

I have to say that the loading screen times are really really terrible,to the point that after a mere 30 minutes last night i just turned the game of as i literally had to wait 3 minutes for the game to load each time i failed a side mission.

This is totally unacceptable when you think of current games of today and how they flow seamlessly and in some cases no loading screens.

Rise of the Tomb Raider loads if you fail a mission in about 3 seconds,Just Cause 3 is like going back 20 years and this has to be put right and patched because to me its seriously reflecting in the fun factor.

Whats worse is the fact that these loading screens are not even the loading of a entire chapter of something,just little side quest like driving a car above a certain speed or a bomb will explode,this car has to be driven to a destination in a certain time ,you then eject from the car and the car hits its target.

Not spent that much time with the game as I'm moving Friday and times at a premium,but this is starting to get on my nerves because when your in game its a real blast and i love it,but sadly you spend half your time starring at loading screens for ever...........Looking at this i am lead to believe its Ram Issues or the clearing of Ram according to reports from reviewers who have slammed the game for such long endless loading times.........Unacceptable

Rushing a game out for the holidays (that would be Christmas Swanny) again. :/
