You want a real game Jorkila with a challenge that will have you pulling your hair out but you will be addicted once you realise how to play it .......Then if you own a Playstation 4 then you owe it to yourself to get Bloodborne and be amazed at how good this game looks and plays.....

You're spot on Kila and it seems that Eurogamer agrees with you!

This is the perfect pick up and play driving game, balanced perfectly for a controller. Even Timey would enjoy it if he gave it a chance! Can't remember the last time I played a driving game that felt so balanced on a game controller.

I paid 20 quid for "The Wild Run Edition". Wild Run is the DLC that included the graphical upgrade, but you need the base game. Check the PSN one you're looking at includes both mate!

It's basically open world and you can pick whatever challenges you want to as you cruise about, just like FC4.

It's not the best looking, but the soundtrack's great if you're not a trance head, and the drift handling on a controller is a hell of a lot of fun. Should have listened to Kila when he recommended it months ago!

Watch all 10 minutes of this video mate, I've tried to include a few different views to show you the speed etc. And you get to fully build your own ride! smile

Doesn't interest me in the slightest, just watched a video and i wouldn't pay £1.99 for this never mind the £15.99 it costs on PSN....

Seriously it looks like something i played on my Playstation 2.......Thats right i said 2 and not even 3.......

Driving games offer me nothing and I'm not getting suckered into buying this when i have so many other games to keep me well and truly occupied for months.

I would download this and within 10 minutes i would be playing Rise of the Tomb Raider or Just Cause 3 or half a dozen other games.......

No its sitting here gathering dust wink.

Swanny seriously..........I really don't think you will have the time or patience to persevere with this game.

I thought i would be blown away with it,I've hardly touched the game and in all truth probably completed 0.1% of it.

Graphically its junk in places and after the initial 2 hours you will quickly forget about it,just like the rest of us on here.

Im not saying its a bad game because i have not truly tested it,if i had nothing else to play then i would have spent more time and effort with it and i might have been singing its praises, but I'm to long in the teeth to stick at this type of massive rpg type of game and i also find many aspects of the game confusing to say the least.

Fair enough matey. smile

I need to get a load of playtime in to earn some spondooleys and buy me a better car! Kila has some awesome cars, but he's up to level 50 nearly, and I'm only a lowly 7. Which is where the temptation of the micro transactions comes in.... frown

Must resist.....

To be fair though, it's only vanity. You don't need the flash cars to progress and the choices of start out cars are still damned sexy! Bought myself an extreme version of a drifter yesterday by accident, can't control the flipping thing!

What a stupid time to load up a game, don't know what it is but I'm not in the mood for gaming at present.

My first Game of 2016 which is already ordered and its a tad after my Birthday on the 23rd Feb is Far Cry Primal.

I can not believe that they have a new Far Cry game out so quick after the last, talking of Far Cry i must revisit that game again as i really loved it.

Haven't touched Just Cause 3, mainly because it purportedly (corroborated by your good self!) runs like pants at times on the consoles. When I get round to playing it, it will be on PC.

I love the visuals on my new GPU. They're phenomenal at times. But consoles are where it's at for social play, no question about it. I was playing with Kila last night and wotty turned up in the party, as did Matty, before then disappearing to play Battlefront with somebody else. I love that aspect of console, and although I know it's doable on Steam, it just feels a little less accessible, and definitely a lot less plug and play; specifically in terms of separating game sound from chat sound, from TV output from headphone output, from default mic speech device....

You get the pcture!

The biggest waste of money for me this year, was my purchase of a gaming mouse and move controller to replace the keyboard. I haven't touched them in terms of gaming, because of the bluetooth shenanigans I experienced when changing to Windows 10. They will get there money's worth when I eventually get them working together, as I want to get into World of Tanks, with the best possible visual fidelity. But other than that, I don't feel I've missed out on anything by using a controller!

The Crew Wild Run though, is the perfect example of a game where graphics aren't everytbing, even for a graphics [censored] like me. But then I honestly think it looks really nice at times.

Nice enough anyway. wink

Its been patched now and the loading screens are a lot faster, its not perfect but we are not talking Naughty Dog here.

Im surprised that given the few issues with long loading times you haven't bought this game for the playstation 4 because its a game that really interested you and given the destruction and fantastic explosions and set pieces its right up your street along side Mad Max another game that has passed you by developed by the same studio Avalanche .

Graphically Just Cause 3 been a massive open world game does not look anything special at times, but explosions and set pieces and graphical effects are some of the best i have witnessed in gaming, this game has massive potential and a very high fun factor and has much to like about the game.

Get on the PSN store and download it..........Its a game that screams This is for Nelly ...wink

I didn't see anything I really wanted in the Steam sale - well, nothing I wanted that was at least 75% off or better, anyway!

So, as a result, my first purchase for this year was a Steam-key for Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor, last night, which was 80% off (not on Steam)! That's been on my wish-list for a while, but I'd never seen it go 75% off or better until yesterday! smile

The cinematic kills with the Object blur + motion blur setting are fantastic, and the dramatic score during a big fight, sets the scene really well!

There were a few cracking kill animations in the first couple of minutes here, until I realised I had bitten off a little more than I could chew! smile

You'll see in the video a randomly repeating artefact in the top right hand corner. Haven't quite worked out what's causing it yet, but I don't think it's GPU related. The best way to play this seems to be with Vsync on, but forcing frame targeting by your GPU, rather than using the in game version.

You didn't play it on PC!

PS4 graphics are more than good enough, but the extra ooomph in single player games like this one, make it a real treat. No point in wasting all that energy for motion blur etc in driving games though. Not as noticeable! smile

Going to download World of Tanks on ps4 in a bit, on Kila's reminder! Try it with the controller before I spend ages getting used to mouse and move controller on the PC!

Yes, and no you don't need a wheel! You might have missed the recent sale, but I paid 20 quid for it as "Next Car Game" in early access, ages ago.

I haven't tried the MP yet. I just roll about on the figure of eight and destruction derby maps, relishing the destruction! It will look mental on your 980 with particle effects on max. smile

I must admit I haven't tried it with a controller yet (well, why would I!) but I'm sure it will be fine. It's that type of game! I think Kila's played it with a controller.
