I dont accept its technically impossible, it seems its been deliberatly made this way to sell more expensive controllers?
Playing a game on my ps4 last few days but I dont like the ps4 controller as much as a 360 controller, i have a 3rd party ps3 controller which is good but no go in the ps4. 
Of course someone has made a 360 style controller for the ps4, but I think paying out £40+ for another controller when all it needs is sony to change some code is a bit much.

How can you possibly think the Playstation 3 controller is better than the touch pad Playstation 4 controller.
Most games if not all of them use the touch pad on the P4 in some way,so playing with a Playstation 3 controller would not be beneficial to you or the games in development.

Just another way to milk money out of people. They could easily had made the 3 controller work with the 4
I do prefer the 4 controller over the 3 though

More importantly, why would any of you think the Xbox one stick layout is better than than the Dualshock layout, and want to buy one for a playstation?
The stick layout was a compromise from the D pad days of the platformers. It's physically and humanly counter intuitive, but just goes to show the triumph of human adaptability. Much the same as high heels....or flip flops. 
The real demand should be for MS to build an Xbox controlller with a symmetrical stick layout. And don't even get me started on you numptys that don't invert your y-axis....

Lol I had to alter my controls after you tried The Division via shareplay!!
Only children and girly handed lady boys prefer the Playstation controller over the Xbox controller.....FACT!!

Well i do change it occasionally and i have dabbled in far cry primal as up on the stick i associate with down and vice versa,its more to do when flying my Owl to be honest,if I'm on the ground i have no problem with how it is but once flying around i tend to press the wrong way....

I mean the third party ps3 controller I have not the original ps3 controller, although the ps3 controller I got with my ps3 was poor also (think that strix version).
The ps4 controller I had to get used to the low placement of the left thumb stick, but it seems sensitive to registering different directions than I want e.g. I often have it registering a up input instead of left right by accident.
My rant is not so much about the controller tho but the lack of support for ps3 devices. None of my ps4 game's need that pad.
