Are you looking forward to the Final Fantasy 7 remake? I hope it's good, 7 wasn't my favourite, in fact it was my least favourite of the 3 that were released on the PS1 but I am still excited about it, it will be nice to play a FF again. They have recently released FF9 on the iPad & Steam and there are lots of good reviews about it, I'm tempted to give that a whirl if I get some spare time over the summer.

I am but am put off that they ditching the battle system.

A modded PC version of FF7 from the 1998 version can have new textures, hd resolution, and more, almost anything can be changed in the game, so it will be interesting to see how SE's remake compares to a modded FF7.
