I like the last comment - but I suspect it is more likely that civilisation has ceased to exist than that we are in a simulation - who in their right minds would create a simulation this boring??? (except of course if we are talking the Matrix argument that human's couldn't accept a simulation that was actually good).

But if it was, everybody's would be different unless we are being networked in some way.

In which case maybe it's my carppy wireless router that explains why I ended up with you lot in my simulation...

Such a interesting guy, just watched the full interview with him (1 hr 24) well worth watching, covered topics including space travel, colonising mars, Ai, automization, electric cars...
