PS4

Was thinking of picking up a PS4, yes I have been such a casual gamer in recent years I don't have one yet! Do you guys think it is a daft time to get one when we have Neo and possibly a slim model on the horizon? Even if I ended up with the standard one it would surely be cheaper..don't mind waiting a bit longer, main games I am finally interested in playing are Deus Ex and No Mans Sky in August.

I think its a bad time to buy one yes, unless you can find a good deal somewhere that stands out.

I can get 20% off at Tesco at the moment. Was thinking of the 500GB one, with lego force awakens & ratchet and clank which comes to £231, then ebaying the 2 games most likely.

I also have Amazon prime with their prime day coming up but doubt they'd top that.

Hold fire as you know i will get a Neo,but how long you prepared to wait Trance as like you No Mans Sky needs to be played and there still isn't a confirmed release date and nobody has seen it due to Sony Stupidity.

Would sell your mine for peanuts,but i don't think its worth you waiting as i don't see the Neo appearing until Christmas as the earliest if at all this year due to Scorpio reveal and specifications.

You do Know thats No Mans Sky is also releasing on them Metal Contraptions don't you besides Playstation 4

Yeah, all the Amazons seem to have this deal today. Forwarded to a friend who is still on the fence about pulling the trigger or waiting for Neo. Excellent offer at least.

Hi HappyRockets welcome mate to the forum,there are not many of us posting on here say apart from about 4/5 hardcore posters,So don't disappear its nice to see a new face

I upgraded my Playstation 4 within a few weeks of taking ownership to a 1TB Hybrid Drive which is suppose to be a tad faster,to be honest releasing consoles with 500 Gig hard drives in this digital age is quite frankly stupid.

I have the new Xbox Slim S on order and the minute the Neo is announced i shall do the same,but at the same time its a little but worrying the fact that in the Xbox S case the Scorpio which is a proper upgrade releases 12 month later.

I also think given the Neo releases this year as there is still no confirmed release date or of yet Sony have not revealed it that Sony will have to bring out something better along side the Scorpio next year,there is no way on earth Sony are going to let Microsoft have a console on the market quite a bit more powerful than the Neo.

So i am going to say this which sorts of makes me out to be a little stupid,why bother with a Xbox S or a Neo when you and me both know that the Scorpio is out in 2017 and Sony will counteract with a better more powerful console than the Neo for sure.

What i am saying is,some of us will be buying 4 consoles in a 12 month period as there is no way on earth I'm settling for anything less powerful if there is new tech out there.

Nice monitor but yet again i have quickly forgotten about getting a PC as i just can not be bothered with Gaming at present,played the Red Dead Redemption again now its backward compatible on Xbox One,great game and really enjoying it but i have seen it all before and that does effect how you feel about the game.

Just downloaded Song of the sea on Xbox One which surprised me as this was not suppose to be out on consoles until the 19th..

Its on my dashboard and i did quickly click on the icon once it downloaded and i got the game screen showing up,but i have had this before with games and as soon as the intro finishes you get the message playable on the 19th

I just bought one.

True just constant remasters.

This may be a mistake but sold UC4 already, have played UC2 and it was great but only way I would play this one is if I went back and played 1, 2 and 3 first which just isn't going to happen right now. So tomorrow I will have the PS4 and no games
