Not in the UK it isn't. I paid £399 for my "Zotac" 1070 FE at overclockers. The AMP extreme is listed at £420.

The FE card is already huge and barely fits in my NZXT H440 case, the AMP wouldn't fit at all.

My card boosts to around 2050 MHz, no different from the AMP Extreme, as the AIB cards aren't using binned chips yet. Also good luck trying to find a waterblock for that monster

so how are the temps?

Boost is one thing, but its another thing to hold it there without throttling.

Temps are <80 degrees C .The fan is noticeable at top speed but not overly loud, certainly nowhere near as loud as the old blower style fans. I haven't seen any thermal throttling at all.

GPU boost 3 does a really good job and it's being shown through numerous reviews that you won't get much more (if anything at all) above 2050 Mhz no matter what the cooling solution. This might change once we start seeing binned chips.
