I can not heap praise on this game enough and its one of only a small handful of games that actually has me excited this year.

Yeah never had much luck being a pilot before and have generally stuck to the tanks

Looks like this will be a great battlefield game  only thing is though they are bound to release a load of DLC afterwards at extra cost. Be nice if it was included in a game that costs £40.

It starts tomorrow for all those that want to play it,but like i said if you joined the Battlefield insider you get it a day early and can play it from today,got email this morning and i have just redeemed my code and i am downloading it as i type this and will test it later this evening ,It includes Conquest and Rush modes in Sinai Desert.
Please Battlefield don't disappoint as i have been really hyped for this game.

Just remembered I don't have PS+ now so would need that in order to play. How long is the beta running?

Did you just not read what i said Swanny ,it starts 31st of August for those that did not become a Battlefield insider which is now to late,gives you access to it a day early and Beta will last 8 days.

And thats why it isn't because for everyone its the 31st of August unless you have early access code like i have said now about 10 times you thick Farmer ,i told you 2 weeks back that you could get early access if you became a Battlefield Insider which is basically just clicking on a link on the site which allows them to send you the usual Battlefield emails.......You didn't subscribe and now you have to wait a further 24 hours which is no big deal.

Doesn't work like that,you go to the store and redeem code and then it takes you to the Battlefield Beta download.

I'm on summer vacation until the 4th of October and my Rig is 1000s of miles away from me, the beta would be long gone by then im sure, sad part is i got my beta code today, won't get to experience multiplayer until official release date.

Nice.
Played a few rounds earlier and it was great fun, didn't have much luck on foot but once I got in a tank racked up some kills looks very promising from this beta map.

Way to big Sinai map, especially on conquest and campers everywhere, no way is there 64 players on the map, terrible on foot as well. Rush, it's camper heaven! The game seems slow and unresponsive, suppose that will be unique WW1 experience thingy, I don't like it!

Personally i think it pretty awesome and i really enjoyed it before the game crashed after about 30 minutes,map is really big and as expected i got nailed more times than i got kills which is on par for me with not really playing Battlefield games and the fact i seem to run around like a headless chicken.
I agree that the map is massive and on foot your just cannon fodder with plenty of snipers and people in vehicles but the game looked fantastic and it plays the same.
It was late so after the crash i didn't try to connect last night.

Funny how a lot of the players who have the game a day early are saying it plays very much like Star Wars Battlefront which was a game that did not impress me one little bit,i only played the beta but i just couldn't get into that game.
I think they could have chosen a smaller map without the huge landscape and open spaces but i really enjoyed my brief time with the game last night even though I'm really useless at the game at present.

They need to sort it out obviously,is it the EA servers or is it the under funded playstation network,did it work on xbox live last night,my guess probably yes so I'm going to download it on xbox one this morning to check the problem out.

Managed to play a bit more last night and it was fun but not sure yet if I will go for the full game, likely wait and see what the rest of the maps are like. Not really enough tanks for my liking on this one, which is probably because of the era. Couldn't help feeling I would rather a more modern Battlefield and remembering how great BC 2 was. How about a BC 3?

I'm actually enjoying the beta, primarily on Xbox.
1)Because my lad and mate are playing on Xbox.
2)The fact that I've got myself the elite controller and I absolutely love it!!
It looks and has the feel of Battlefront which the small amount that I did play it I thoroughly enjoyed!!

Played it for a bit on ps4
got a car and drove it into an enemys car and they got stuck together which neither of us could get out like the cars merged or something ha
gameplay feels ok but nothing that makes me want to jump out and buy it.

I've made it to level 15 to get my special dog tag.
Someone there was level 75 with 26 kills no deaths and a score of 43,000 for the match

Lvl 37 on Xbox and 16 on PS4, regularly scoring between 20-30k

Sort of a mixed bag reaction on here,Swanny isn't blown away,i like it but I'm on the fence and think the desert map is far to big for the beta,if your not in a vehicle then its game over and impossible to go from flag to flag on foot before getting nailed,personally i think the MW remastered will be my preference for online multiplayer FPS and Watchdogs 2.
What i may go back and try though is Battlefield 4 until these games release,oh and not forgetting the original Watchdogs which i love.

Isn't it strange how we all once again dumped the division just like Rainbow Six Siege and a fair few others ,I'm tempted to go back and start that all over again . i think i am right in thinking you was not that keen on the game originally mate,i think Swanny and his one and only online buddy still play it now and again.

I don't think it's a great map. Which makes it harder to form a good opinion one way or other of the game

Day one for me 100%
Actually really enjoyed the map, whether I was racing around in the jeep capping flags/getting road kills or being a quite lethal sniper (not normally one of my strong points)!!

Quite enjoyed the beta although the map is a little to big for my liking.
What I don't like is that on conquest kills have no effect on the score. I get why they did it they wanted everyone to work together as a team to take over the flags so less camping etc.
The truth is though that a camping sniper doesn't care about winning or losing it's all about their K/D so in BF4 they actually did something to kinda help, In this version of conquest they are a big burden on the team, It also seems much easier to snipe as well which means they are more likely to do it.

Well it wasn't maybe the size of the map more that there wasn't many vehicles or people were just going in vehicles by themselves. Personally I'm more of a infantry man so like to make my way there on foot anyway but a couple of the flags were way out of the way against the main ones.

I'm sticking with Battlefront for the time being. It plays much more like BFBC, so hardly any camping whatsoever and connection differences have a lesser impact on the game (even if they are still bullet sponges).
