finally we will stop needing mods on console ports to get the full colour range using things like sweetfx and gedosato.

HDR has been around for years , took forever for consoles to catch on.

There is a simple answer to all this but at a risk ? and if one or the other Microsoft or Sony came up with it then things would be more of the PC than Console variety.

Release a Console that you can easily attach upgraded Ram ,Graphic cards,Hard drive ect ect ect ,and i mean easily.

Obviously we are now going down the PC route,but if you made it really easy for future proofing you could add upgrades as the years roll buy if you wanted to.

Either do something like this or release a really high spec console in the first place and stop cutting corners like leaving out a Blur Ray drive.

I mean at the end of the day with all thats surfaced 3 years later,Xbox Slim,Playstation Slim, Playstation Pro Nintendo NX next year and then the Scorpio,its costing gamers around a Grand if they buy into some of this anyway,so why not next time around release a console that is so far advanced and costs lets say £600 to £700 and stop trying to release slight upgrades at £350 a throw,may as well test the market,build a beast of a console that won't need upgrading 2 years later.
