4 days is Friday and it isn't available any sooner ...

The limited edition console is released on the 6th.

You say you love gears of war yet you're not getting the limited edition console just to play it a day early, You're not a GOW fan at all.

The limited edition console is released on the 7th as i have it now coming from Amazon ,so i don't know where you get the 6th from,its a play 4 days early if you buy that console or the special edition of the game which ships on the 11th.

Game and the official M$ store, If you check xbox.com it only lists Game and M$ store on the pre orders and they are the 2 places that have it on the 6/10. ( I say have it on the 6th, what I should say is they have it down to be released on the 6/10, other places still have 7th so no idea if game paid extra or the others just not changed the date.

Aaron Greenberg head of xbox games marketing tweeted it as well.

Well its no big deal getting it a day early or 4 days early to be honest,probably take more all day to download and install given the atrocious xbox live install times.thats if it turns up in the first place,generally all my gaming stuff is from Shopto but they don't have any of these editions.

I looked at Amazon and it says shipping on the 6th so they obviously haven't yet got or updated there schedule,i looked at your link mate and your very much right about the 6th.....

OK It was working before but I've done it again and checked and currently working.

Im guessing this is your new special edition S gears console,im still awaiting mine from Amazon,they obviously haven't got the news of Microsoft that they could have shipped this to me buy today, looking at my Amazon order its still not been shipped at 4pm this afternoon, will be really disappointed if this fails to get here by tomorrow.

It is indeed. I wouldn't worry to much about Amazon delivery, I've had them send dispatch emails gone 10pm and still get the item next day.
The download of the game itself on the other hand........I'm downloading the PC version of the game and it's 73.33GB, The XB1 version is still 54.6GB.

Who did you buy it of.......Please don't say Game Hate them, you a Gears Horde Fan Giraffe,you should join myself and Jorkila.

Yeah the download will take literally hours I'm guessing, what do you think of the console and the controller and the HDR thing.

Not a fan of Game myself either but at the time they were the only place I could pre-order so I had no choice.

I tended to quite enjoy horde from the previous ones but preferred zombies from COD more so played that more but will deffo be playing horde mode.
The console looks very very nice, the gouges are actually in the console which is quite neat. The controller I've not touched as I've an elite controller and after using it I can't go back to using the standard ones.
Not sure if I like the custom power on/off noises.
Not had the chance to use HDR yet.

Easy set up, elite controller doesn't have to be reconfigured does it as i have one myself

I was at 68GB downloaded (PC version) and paused it to do a Xbox one update as the update was going super slow (1meg every 30secs) and when I restarted the PC downloaded of GOW4 it started again from the beginning.
So try to download it all in 1 go if you can, I managed to stop it a few times earlier and it just resumed from where it left off but not this time.

Ouch!! I just had exactly the same problem at 32 GB.

That's the only thing that makes pc gaming a chore at times. [censored] Windows.
