[link to this post]

It's £28 in sainsburys until monday. Seems a decent price
I know it's cheaper at CDkeys but I think I'll get it for the PS

One of the best games released in the past 12 months and kind of sad that people wait for so called price drops before showing any interest.

Thank God Swanny all gamers were not like you else there wouldn't be a game industry and Game developers would be dropping like flies.

That game should have been a priority and a game that you should have bought the minute it got released on your playstation 4 after a years wait, the game got outstanding reviews and surpassed the brilliant first one.

And at about £40 it was extreme value for money regardless, so you save £12 Swanny....Whats that about 3 pints of Scrumpy,How long does that last.tongue

To be honest I couldn't care less about the games industry or game developers. I don't expect they give a [censored] about me smile

Maybe I'll wait another 12 months and get it for £12 tongue

To be honest if the developers cared about gamers in general then they would have released the game on all platforms at initial release and not taken Microsofts money for exclusivity. I don't want to reward that sort of behaviour.

when your offered Millions of pounds then its hard to resist, and its not exactly the developers but the publishers who provide the money to make the game in the first place.

I dont like exclusivity in the first place but its a good way of getting gamers and those truly interested in buying that console for that particular game.

I was surprised myself when the tomb raider had the 12 month deal as thats a awful long time when you take into consideration gamers general don't bother with games a few months later.

Yeah I understand why they did it but I think it was a mistake, they would have made enough without a exclusivity deal.

You just stick to your one game a year tongue besides you probably get stuck at the opening credits screen and not knowing which button to click on to start the game crazy.

Seriously one of the greatest games in the past decade [the last of us] and you give up at the drop of a hat ?

I'm going to keep TR and play it with the GF when she gets here

I wasn't that impressed with what I saw and when I got stuck on that stupid level I gave up. I really don't see what the fuss was all about. Maybe if I'd got a bit further... Never mind smile

Your not going to like this but it's on sale on PSN for £21.99...I really can't turn that down smile

Have to quote timey not long ago...

Trance it may drop on the Xbox One but you be waiting at least 6 months if not more for it to take a price drop on the Playstation 4,besides it comes with all the downloadable content and some new stuff added also.

If true it surprises me as this great game doesn't need or deserve a price cut after a mere month of release on the playstation 4.

But then again its probably not getting the playstation 4 sales it would had it not been exclusive to Microsoft 12 months ago, like i said people forget abut games a month later never mind a year later .

Im even tempted and i have played it to death on the Xbox One,apparently it has enhanced visuals for the Pro.

Thats is a exceptional price to be fair and i didn't see that coming so soon, but trance i think it will have to be around the price of a pint of Scrumpy before Swanny gets it.,he dropped 50p the other day, bent down to pick it up and it hit him on the back of his neck.tongue

Its a awesome game and has quality all over it.anybody with a playstation 4 that loves games should have been all over this the day it got released, talking and waiting about price reductions of games of this quality beggars belief.

Yes it was one of their 12 deals of Christmas and they are for 48 hours only. Currently it's Fallout 4 for £17.99. I was tempted at that but I have more than enough to play now.

Fallout, another game i quickly bored with and was way disappointing than i expected with bland graphics and another with far to much to do explore and understand, way to complex for my tiny brain I'm afraid, great game if you want longevity and don't generally buy many games, but its another game that requires patience and strategy and i don't have either.

That's good to know, never played Fallout so been curious about them. Really don't have the time for a massive game like that though and got enough to play so will give it a miss.

Latest deal is Dishonoured 2 for £29,99, sounds good also for such a new game but not played the first yet. If the deals continue like this then it will be great. Kudos to Sony.

Idiot wink to say this game is just ok is just plain crazy, you have tunnel vision at best mate and beyond Battlefield and GTA there isn't much else that interests you to be fair.

Rise of the tomb raider has to be one of the best games of 2016 on presentation and visuals and gameplay, you wasn't blown away by another masterpiece as in The last of us and gave up at a part that wasn't exactly difficult, but at the end of the day Swanny its your choice and it makes little to know difference to me that you think games i think are few and far between and class acts as simply Ok.

Im sure you make gaming comments to wind up others on here and go completely against what the majority think in general about brilliant games.

If you think Rise of the tomb raider is just ok then there isn't much to inspire you and i would just carry on playing your beloved Battlefield and stick to that for the next couple of years why the rest of us saviour other brilliant games sadly not appreciated in the Swanny camp of thought.

I wont be telling you to be buying Horizon Zero Dawn and others such as Days Gone next year for surer the new Resident evil in Jan 2017.

The first Tomb Raider reboot game (prequel to this one) had camp fire saves and was out in 2013. Although games much older have used camp fire / bonfire saves etc before.
